"In my hands is your life. Trust me. Embrace me. I'll end your strife."

That is the motto of all members of "Heaven".

The members, called Strikers, protect the people in the world with unexplainable and extraordinary powers. They were sent from the gods themselves to watch over the humans in their time of need. And now, a new evil has risen, ready to annihalate the entire human race and anything else that stands in their way.

The enemies, or Slashers, have one mission only: To find the object known as the 'Devil Factor', a ruby orb who's power is yet to be known. However, the Strikers take no chance to hesitate.

The time to fight is now.

The Roleplay will start but sign-ups are still open.

You may begin.

Skyler flinched back instantly in surprise. Had the Slashers-- She squinted, the face looking familiar. Skyler pulled the hand covering her mouth away. "Impulse?" She choked out, smiling. "I thought you'd gotten your butt kicked or something. Anyway it's super cold so-- Oh!" Skyler interrupted her only babbling. "That reminds me. I had a vision--there's a Slasher base somewhere around here, and they were looking for one of us.." Skyler's voice faded as she finished.

Astra scoffed. "It takes more than a Slasher to get rid of me." She pulled her hand away from Skyler's mouth and wiped it clean on her pants.

"That reminds me. I had a vision--there's a Slasher base somewhere around here, and they were looking for one of us.."

A vision of a Slasher? "Its probably me, you idiot. The way you blew my cover here and over there with that Slasher! I could have DIED." Astra said, overexhaggerating. She spun on her heel and turned to the moon.

"Guess we're headin' over there then."

Zeph scowled for a moment, straightening up so he was standing properly. "How it must pain you to deliver that news," he retorted. Then his frown quite literally turned upside down, when it occured to him just how much he could irritate her- after all, so long as he didn't stray from the mission, there was no way she'd risk getting away from him, not for long.

Knowing it would probably piss her off, he leaped forwards, forcibly linking an arm through hers. "Alright, mission time!" he enthused, sticking his tongue out in Luna's direction.

She smirked mockingly at Storm's reaction but found that it was soon wiped of her face when he linked arms with her and stuck his pale pink tongue out at her teasingly. She had half a mind to pull on it and see how far it would stretch but she decided against it, knowing full well that it'd only provide her with more trouble and unnecessary sound on his behalf. And we all know how much she hated his voice.

Instead of bothering to wriggle her way out of his grip, she inched farther away from him the best she could -not wanting to waste her energy- and close her eyes. In an instant, the same red flash that permitted to leave blinked as an exit fee as well.

"Let's go," She stated, turning to look at Zeph as she walked briskly into mid-air, disappearing and dragging him with her. "And do try not to mess up."

Rolling his eyes, Zeph clung onto her arm, practically shoving his shoulder against hers- something quite difficult to do, given his height, but he pretty much managed it.

"Me, mess up?" He sniped, then appeared to go into deep thought for a moment. Not that he was- he was just trying to mess with her. "I bet if some hot guy wandered across the street in front of you, you'd be off like a shot."

At that, Destiny's face nearly flushed a bright crimson, but she had enough sense to hold down the blood rising. That idiot had some nerve to give such an assumption. The nudge didn't go by unnoticed either and she couldn't help but want to fill the male's mind with torturous illusions right then and there.

"Unlike you Storm, I have self-control. Ever heard of it?" She questioned irritably, coming out in a dark street, the atmosphere even more chilling then that in the streets of London where she previously came from. It was practically pitch black but that wasn't a nuisance to the likes of her. After all, most Slashers can see quite efficiently in the dark, such as Scarlett and a handful of the others.

A snort escaped him, seeing her expression. He considered for a moment assuming an injured air, but his expression was already filled with such a barely-contained glee he thought it a shame to go through all the trouble. He'd always got a kick out of winding Luna up, but now was just such a perfect opportunity. He was so thrilled by her initial reaction, he didn't even care at how murky the surroundings were- unlike most of the others, he found seeing in the dark fairly tricky, but it wasn't as if he was scared of it. Ha, what a thought- a Slasher, scared of the dark?

"I've heard of it," he replied after a long pause, flashing her a smug smile. "I just choose to believe the need for it doesn't apply to me."

"Well it should, we don't need you running off less we pass by a stripper bar of some kind." Destiny taunted, carefully not to let her small smirk slip as she navigated throughout the streets, careful not to slip on the damp stone ground. Losing her balance with her arm still reluctantly linked with Storm's would prove to be unwise. She shuddered at the mere thought of the consequences.

"Because even if you can't see it," She started, taking a jab at his skill--or rather, lack of certain skills. "I'm sure you'll be able to sniff one out."

"Although I have many talents, Lu- lying at charades, hiding when I'm incredibly drunk, taking other people's clothes without them noticing, not to mention I make a mean cheese and pickle sandwich... unfortunately, the ability to detect prostitutes just by their scent escaped me. Such a shame..." He pretended to sigh, eyes sparking with amusement, and for a moment his left foot skidded awkwardly on the stone. Zeph swore colorfully, but didn't lose his balance, stumbling but managing to right himself long before he would have fallen.

Destiny snorted lightly, shaking her head at his rebellious comebacks. That is, before nearly falling flat on her face from Storm's slight misstep. She jerked her head around to glare at him, her lips pursed in frustration.

"If you're going to cling to me like a lost child at least take the courtesy to watch what you're doing!" She sniped, flicking him in the forehead hard with her pointer finger and thumb, her manicured nail giving a nice reassuring sound in response. "We don't need both of us rendered useless and leave the 'Superior' even more angered at you and I!" Clearing her throat, Destiny regained her composure, looking forward again. they were a little ways away from the entrance still...

"It's not my fault.." Skyler muttered, blowing on a stray strand of her hair, come loose from her messy ponytail. "C'mon, you're the one who took an hour to get here. You weren't even lost like I was." She glanced around, and bit her lip. "And I'm not sure that they were referring to just one of us, though that's what it sounded like. It sounds like they may be coming wherever we go." She admitted.

Skyler's visions weren't always as crystal-clear as this one had ended up being, but the Slashers intentions had been pretty straight-forward. That was what a Slasher did after all. She stomped her foot in frustration. "I don't even know where we are!"

"I think you're severely underestimating our chances, Lu," Zeph replied casually despite her tirade. "Even in the dark, I'm sure I'd be able to battle our way through the Striker masses to freedom. No need to be so worried- if we fall and someone gets the jump on us, so long as you stay behind me, I'm sure you'll be in one piece. I don't think the 'Superior' would be entirely thrilled if we went back and you were missing a leg or something."

He fell back into step properly again, even though he wasn't particularly paying much attention to where he was putting his feet. Not that Zeph really cared- a slip to him was nothing. Stepping in dog poo or the like, however, would have been a problem.

"Ever heard of expecting the worse? It's a key role to survival Storm. And I don't need your protection! i can take care of myself thank you." she cleared, stopping her steps to face him. Destiny knew that Storm was merely kidding around but it did bother her the way he worded things such as that. She wasn't inferior to him, let alone weaker. In fact, knowing him, she'd be the one doing all the dirty work while he watched and pointed out all the enemies coming towards her or something like that. "And no, I don't think you would." She said as an afterthought, looking to the side in thought.

It was there she noticed the most interesting thing. Well, to her at least.

There was a small window giving way to the insides of a few apartments and it was there she saw a small child crying out, most likely awaking from a horrid nightmare. The parents immediately were at it's side, comforting the distressed young one. Destiny wasn't sure if what she was feeling was disgust, hurt or jealousy at the scene that had just unfolded, which to most people, would be perfectly normal.

Why was I the only one..?

Due to the gloom, Zeph didn't realised she had stopped, and walked right into Luna. He took a step back, too stubborn to apologise, instead raising his hands in mock surrender. He opened his mouth to retort, and then realised, after squinting through the darkness for a long moment, that her attention was directed elsewhere. Pulling a face, he turned to look behind him, then back again, frowning. Unable to think of what could have caught her attention, he instead smirked.

"Spot that mystery hot guy I mentioned?"

Instead of giving a reply with that sharp tongue of hers, Destiny simply stared back at Storm for a barely noticeable moment. She strongly hoped he couldn't see the confused look dwelling in her eyes from the scene she just witnessed, or that it was troubling her for that matter. She preferred he didn't see her vulnerable. It'd only give him more of a reason to tease her. And Destiny didn't need to hear more of him then she already did.

"Only in your dreams Storm, I don't fall so easily for people, especially not on looks alone. I'm not as simple minded as you." And even as she said that, her words didn't hold as much spark, the venomous bite seemed to have lessened.

A figure is laying on an all white bed in an all white padded room. His hair hangs over his face, covering it, and loud snores erupt from his mouth. To the far left of the room, a man looks into the window of the door and knocks on it. The figure does not stir from his sleep. The man outside of the door shakes the handle and eventually pries the door open. He takes a moment to sigh as he sees the figure still asleep. "Nikushimi", the man utters loudly. The figure doesn't budge. "Agent Nikushimi!". No response. "God damn it Sai, wake up!". Still no response.

In an act of frustration, the man walks over to the bed and punches Sai in the chest. Sai jumps up immediately and starts to breathe hard. "What the hell was that for?", Sai hisses as he swings his leg on the other side of the bed. "You have orders", replies the man. Sai is handed a folder with various paperwork. "I don't feel like going anywhere", Sai grumbles.

He pushes his hair from out of his face. The man sighs. "These are orders Agent Nikushimi. Orders! If you want to hold your position as a slasher, you will follow-". Sai then looks intensely into the man's eyes. The man notices Sai's "D" eye start to glow, and he has little time to react as he is swallowed by a mass of darkness. Sai watches the man fall unconscious on the floor and laughs. He gets up from his bed, grabs the sheets off of it, and throws them on the man. "Sweet dreams hahaha!", Sai says as he exits the room.

Rashel's head dotted back and forth from the two forms, quareling as always. She was smart enough to stay a little behind, not wanting to get dragged into it nor wanting to be noticed. She was pretty sure both of them had forgotten about the red head. Not that she minded. It was fine. And it was almost amusing seeing them argue so childishly, yet speaking of prostitutes and other things.

Rashel continued to walk, falling even more and more behind, but still listening, following their voices almost while focusing on her surroundings.

The wind was cold and comforting. To Rashel at least.

She finally stopped in her tracks, stared up at the sky and sighed.

She felt completely relaxed, even with Zeph and Destiny bickering and the cold air numbing her body.

She just felt calm and in control for once.

"I don't feel a thing, and I stopped remembering. The days are just like moments turned hours." Sai takes his iPod out and turns up the volume. This was his favorite song. "Mother used to say, if you want you'll find a way. But Mother never danced through fire showers. Walk, in the rain. In the rain. In the rain. I walk in the rain, in the rain. In the raaiiinnnn, is it right or wrong? And is it here that I belong?". A cold wind blows as Sai takes a sip of his soda. It was going to be a long walk before he could catch up to the others. But he needed his sleep, that's why he got left behind.

"I've never met these people in my life anyways", Sai mutters as he throws his can in the grass. Leaves start to rustle as Sai walks by the trees of the park he was in. The sound of the night animals played in his ears louder than his song. Sai decides to take a break, and sits down on an old wooden park bench. He tilts his head back and looks into the sky, and observes the different stars. "I haven't killed anyone all day. What the hell is going on with me?". Sai brings his head back into normal position and then takes the opportunity to look at his hands. They were of human structure, but something about them gave off an odd feeling. Like the hands weren't his. Suddenly, both of his hands begin to tremble, and Sai knows what is about to happen. Instead of panicking, Sai simply smiles and says, "Good night world!". His eyes start to haze as he slips out of consciousness, and his "other" begins to take over.

Astra thought for a second.

She placed her hand on her chin and sighed. "Well, were in Venice. We have to find the Devil Factor...but where do we look?!" She asked desperately. She thought harder, getting lost in her mind.

"Maybe we're in the wrong place." Astra said finally. She walked a little closer to the water and kneeled down. "The place where Lucifer created the Devil Factor...that's where we need to go to get clues." She stood and threw a pebble in the water.

"The Temple of the Damned... In Greece."

"Temple of the Damned?" Skyler echoed. "Doesn't sound very, um, pleasant. I guess that's why you'd create something that could be so evil there.. LOOK! My southern accent is gone! Stop talkin' in all these fancy sentences! Sheesh! Would it kill you to-to-.." She sighed. She didn't even remember what she was talking about anymore--Skyler's head was pounding and her brain muddled as after-effects of the vision. "Wouldn't someone have thought of going there already? What clues could we find? It would've been swept clean by now, wouldn't it?"

Astra shook her head.

"No. It contains a book where Lucifer himself recorded things about when he was still a full angel. You know, back when he was working on the Devil Factor itself. No Striker has been there ever since the accident that occured. They say that anyone who goes near there can be suffocated from the darkness and horrible energy released from there. They say even our leader won't go there unprepared. Pure, condensed darkness is there."

Astra shuddered and walked back to Skyler. "But I'm sure it's nothing. Just a myth."

"Oh, I'm far from simple minded, Lu. You wouldn't believe the amount of things that run through my head. And probably wouldn't care to hear the majority of them. Do you know how endlessly entertaining having a mind of pure filth can be, on occasion?"

Even though he couldn't see her face in the gloom, he still detected the slight weakening in her tone, but for once chose not to pick her up on it, starting to try and continue stomping along the street, dragging her along with him. Sadly, due to his lack of vision, he very nearly careered off right into a wall, only just pausing when his elbow caught the damp brick.

Skyler raised her eyebrows. "Interestin story," She muttered. "So, if no Striker has ever been there since... Then how does anyone know that there is a curse?" Skyler thought aloud. Myths had always been myths to her--if it was true, and everyone stayed away, what proof is there of somethingexisting there?... Right? She bit her lip. "So suffocated from darkness?" Skyler repeated. 'Sounds a helluva like a playground for little Slashers or somehin' She thought bitterly. "Certain death?" Nah, she was golden. "I could try to access any records the Slashers or Strikers have on the curse. I think I could get at least that much out of a vision..."

Destiny nearly yelped but instead hit him on the back of the head for being so careless.

"See! I told you to watch where you're going!" She hissed, pulling him away from the eroded brick wall he almost crash landed into. Though she might of laughed at how the introduction from wall to face looked afterwords on him...She sighed, her arm growing slightly tired and losing a bit of circulation from the iron grip Storm had her in. Calling him a child would honestly be a compliment at this point for him...

"Could you not cling to me? I wouldn't mind if you just held on loosely or something but really," she shook her head, the long black locks following the fluid movement. "i would actually like like to feel something other then my arm falling asleep. And put your guards up, both of you." She said, referring to Scarlett as well who had chosen to remain silent for the most part. "We're getting close."

Luna had pulled him away a little too quickly, and Zeph stumbled, but hoped she wouldn't really take much notice. It wasn't his fault it was already pretty easy to trip over his own feet, and the dark certainly wasn't paying him any favours. Assuming an injured air, Zeph didn't loosen his grip in the slightest, practically marching along, nose in the air.

"You wouldn't mind?" He turned to look at her for a moment, raising his eyebrows to mock her, before facing ahead again, fighting a smile. "And put my guard up? Just because you need to be always on edge when there are Strikers around. Some of us have such amazing talent we don't have to worry."
