AN AMONG THE HIDDEN RP

 

Families were permitted to have only two children. Others were killed. Homes were searched constantly, and anywhere else these children could be hidden. Never allowed to amount to anything--not even supposed to exist in the first place. Slowly, some of these shadow children will learn of each other's existance. An idea is sparked--what if they didn't have to live like this? What if they could be.. free?

 

Rules:

 

1) No godmodding. You're, like, a kid and not supposed to exist.

2) Do your best with spelling and grammar. It's not that hard, darling.

3) If you want your character killed (there will be a rebellion, after all), make it stunning.

4) Cussing. Let's keep it to a minimum.

5) If you read this, put your favorite song at the bottom of your post

6) Don't be rude to your fellow RPers.

Skyler tapped away furiously on her keyboard. Not ever having gone to school before, she was pretty smart in comparison to how she could be. Still, she typed with her pointer fingers and had to pause for a moment to be sure that she was spelling words correctly. She breathed the word quietly to herself as she typed in the password to let her have access to the secret chatroom. "Free.." It was a longing. No conversation seemed to be going on, so Skyler typed out tentatively.

 

"Skyler: Is anyone online?"

Akuma looked at the white ceiling of her small room, going to front and back in a repetitive move with her body she awaited for something, patiently on the bed with the same white color. No thoughts went through her head at that time, not anything she could actually notice, but since when did she have anything to think about? In that world of emptyness of hers, where nothing could ever happen?

 

Finally she heard it, the low sound of the old computer announcing a new message on the chat room. Getting up she moved her slim body fastly to the chair in front of the monitor and read it:

"Is anyone online?"

Typing, a bit slower than usual she answered.

"Here we are, waiting for something..."

Skyler breathed out a sigh of relief. When you'd barely even looked out the windows of your own home, the ability to communicate seemed like a gift. Of course, being alive was practically a gift. Skyler was a third child, apparently devoid of the right to exist. That's why this chatroom was especially important to thirteen-year-old Skyler. There were others out there, just like her, breaking the law. And doing so, they were in silent protest, claiming, 'We deserve to exist. We do exist. And you'll never be able to stop us.'

 

"Skyler: Waiting for freedom..

Skyler: Where is everyone else?"

Jerry was on the desktop that was supplied at his school. He looked nervously at everyone, but everyone in his room was asleep. As he went on the chatroom fro Shadow Children, he saw a post from Skyler.

 

Skyler: "Is anyone online?"

 

Jerry slowly looked at everyone else to make sure that everyone else was asleep. Slowly Jerry typed "I'm here. Still planning for a rebellion with Matthew"
