Re:MIND, some mysteries resolved?

Posted

OK, this is just a theory I had about what happens in the Secret Episode of "Re:Mind", but I believe it's worthy to mention it. There are more new mysteries in Kingdom Hearts than answers to old mysteries, so we had to think about them.

First of all, we have to think about where the Secret Episode happens. At first sight, it seems to be the Final World, but things get really weird after that. Later, it appears we are inside Sora's heart, in the Awakening Station; and then, suddenly, everything turns into Shibuya, Yozora's world. Then we have Yozora's fighting style and moves. Disappearing and teleporting, firing lasers, trapping Sora inside a ball of electronic energy than analyse him and takes his powers to Yozora, materializing Gigas that disappear in flashes of light, creating a giant ball that looks like the proyector of an astronomic dome... etc. It's obvious that Yozora has a very advanced technology at his disposition, but no tech can do some of the things we saw. All the sounds we hear when Shibuya appears, sounds like what he hear in a computer; similar stuff to what Sora found in the worlds of Tron (Space Paranoids and The Grid). Finally, Yozora clearly said to Sora "This isn't the real world". All the things I saw, for some reason, they made me think about Matrix's movies. All this made me get just one conclussion; they were inside somekind of Virtual Reality. In other words: They were inside a Datascape, like the one from Coded or the one where the Dandelions are currently trapped in Union X, as well as Maleficent's past self.

Now, the next question is... Why did Sora end up here? According to what everyone said, Sora was destined to disappear from the world for mixing things up with time traveling. Instead, somehow, it was sent to a Datascape, and after defeating Yozora, he returned to the Final World. Well, I only find one way: Luxord's wild card. Luxord is known as the "Gambler of Fate", so maybe the Wild Card he gave to Sora has worked to avoid Sora's fate to disappear from the world; sending him instead to this mysterious Data World. But why would Luxord do such thing? Well, recently, we have discovered that Xigbar is not the only one hiding a tremendous secret (he's actually Luxu). It appears Luxord has one too. Just, who is Luxord then? The only thing we know for sure (thanks to Xenmas) is that he comes from the past, probably linked to the Keyblade War (just like Marluxia, Larxene and Demyx). However, for now, only Marluxia and Larxene has appeared in their original selves; Luxord and Demyx have not appeared nowhere yet. Even more, after Sora defeats Yozora, Yozora wakes up in a car, driven by what appears to be his "assistant". We don't know how this driver is, but by his voice, the back of his hair and his front hairstyle reflexed in the rear-view, it appears that it's actually Luxord!! How is that possible? Are Luxord and Yozora of the same world? Even more, how did Yozora knew about Sora when they first met? The simplest way would be that Luxord told Yozora about him.

Either way, this is really confusing and already quite long. I'll explain more after some answers.
