Did MX know that Kingdom Hearts was light?

If he did, did he forget when he merged with terra?

 

B/C in KH 1, Ansem didnt know that KH was light....

i think he might have forgotten (since he forgot who he was in final episode, even if it was just for a while, he could have forgotten again[so most likely])

I think that he may have forgotten after the merged being of MX and Terra split into Ansem SoD and Xemnas. if I remember correctly from the secret Ansem reports from KH1, I think one of the reports mentions the door to Kingdom Hearts, and doing something with it is how the merged being split into Ansem SoD and Xemnas. either that or I'm thinking of the door to the heart of the world of Radiant Garden.

Yeah. After all, Vanitas didn't come up with that conclusion on his own, and MX is essentially the resident KH expert.

Perhaps the fact that Apprentice Xehanort didn't recover all of his memories in the experiments? ^^;

Well, it seems that MX never knew everything about KH. He was mainly going to use it as part of his plan to start another keyblade war, along with obtaining the X-Blade and finding a new body for his heart. And you're right, Ansem did seem to knot know about KH being full of light, but that's because it was due to MX's memories back when he was Apprentice Xehanort. Back then Apprentice Xehanort was recovering some of his memories. So in a way, it affected Ansem SoD when he was born.

What Reversal said. And it could also be, aside from the memory not being there, that Ansem SoD is a Heartless, so he's all Darkness Darkness Darkness about everything.
