I've got Year 9 Head-start next week. Ouch, it's gonna be hard.

Who else had Year 9 Head-start before they went into Year 9?

Who else is going into Year 9 next year (Aussies only for obvious reasons).

I'm in WA, where we're different to the rest of Aus. Here for some weird reason we are a year ahead of those in other states, so I go into year 11 next year, despite only being 15 (well 16 around March next year).

 

Is the headstart where you start the next yeargroup of primary/highschool for a week or two before the year's over? If it is we don't do that here, so I wouldn't know what it's like, we only change the yeararea we sit in so we get used to going there the year after. Don't stress too much about it though, Sora. You seem like a smart guy, and year 9 really isn't that difficult, It's year 11 and 12 where highschool gets hard.

i know i'm in year 9 UK atm (year 10 next year, GCSEs), yet you're an academic year ahead of me, so aussie people are 1 year less than us.

Yeah, kinda. We are just doing it for a few days, and I finish Year 8 on the 15th.
