I was watching the Re: Chains of Memories cutscenes again (more specifically Axel's cutscenes) and one thing I didn't understand is: Axel and Roxas were already great friends before the CO assignment, but for some reason Axel acts like he doesn't even know that Roxas is Sora's Nobody...

I don't know if it's just me or does anybody else see this?

no he knew cause there is a referance, like theres 1 part where he says i think too sora, we have more in common than you might think. so he knew cause i think saix told him but didnt want to tell sora cause it would spoil kh2

Axel already knew Roxas before he left to C.O. and when he was at C.O. as well. He just doesn't mention anything about him in Re:CoM. But Venterraqua is right, Axel did make a reference to Roxas when he said "Now Sora, we might have more in common than you might think". That was a refernce to Roxas. As well as when Vexen made a reference to Roxas when he said the Twilight Town was "from the other side of Sora's heart" which is Roxas of course seeing how he is the nobody of Sora.

@Venterraqua, well actually, if you look back at the origional CoM (the one for the GBA), Axel gave a few hints about Roxas. But in Re:CoM he doesn't give as much hints since we already knew about Roxas then.
