Demyx was out of breath when he got to the park. He noticed that his back was fairly heavy at that moment...

 

Well, f*ck. He forgot his sitar. Now what was he supposed to use as an excuse for coming? Demyx took a deep breath and looked around. Namine was standing up near a bench with her notebook at hand. Maybe he'd just walk in front of her so she'd call out to him? Yeah. Seemed like a good plan.

Namine clenched her sketchbook tightly. Demyx was too late to be coming by now. Her lower lip trembled. "Stupid boys.." She muttered under her breath. "Always seeming so sweet and then turning out to be jerks.." She pursed her lips as she started to drag herself home. Maybe she shouldn't had a little more dignity, but right then, Namine didn't particularly care. Who was she trying to impress? Demyx wasn't there, and neither was Roxas.

Demyx saw Namine storming off from the corner of his eyes and his eyes widened. Why did she look so mad? Quickly, Demyx ran over to Namine and grabbed her shoulders. He spun her and asked her with concerned eyes, "What's the matter..? Why do you seem so mad..?"

Namine's eyes widened, and she stammered in surprise. "D-Demyx! You're h-here!" Her sketchbook fell through her fingers, and she couldn't hide her shock. After staring at him with a silly expression on her face, she quickly bent down to gather up her notebook and supplies. Her cheeks flushed a deep crimson. "I-I'm sorry, Demyx. I'm just a klutz," She didn't look up, for fear he'd see the coloring on her cheeks.
