June 9, 2025Jun 9 Couldn't care less about this game, but also I'm not surprised at anything being released on as many platforms as possible these days. Games being exclusive to something is a thing of bygone years. Edited June 9, 2025Jun 9 by FadedSparkle
April 24Apr 24 Personally, I feel like this isn't so much a surprise as a logical step. Hard exclusives are almost pointless these days—everything comes out everywhere sooner or later. Moreover, the game has already been available since 2023, so the hype has been a bit lost. But the Shadow Drop itself is still a cool move just "here you go, you can play it today," without lengthy trailers and waiting. If it were a straight-up Day One release for all platforms, then yeah, it would be a different story. As it is, it feels more like "they caught up with the Xbox audience" than any big deal. By the way, speaking of games, if you sometimes want to switch to something other than story-driven RPGs, I found a decent option for myself: https://wageon-h.click/73516/8357?l=3990&utm_source=ag It's convenient to just log in, relax, spin the slots or play live games—no hassle, just as an alternative when you don't feel like playing something big like a FF So, on topic—it's nice, but not exactly hype. It's just another step toward the complete blurring of platform boundaries.
