The only reason they remade coded is because it was only available in Japan, and on only one kind of phone.

They remade coded because it was for a japanese cell phone so they couldn't really put in all they wanted. So they remade it for the DS so not only could they get everything they wanted into it, but they could also sell it around the world. However, Nomura said that after Re:coded there wouldn't be anymore remakes.

Actually, the reason they remade Coded was because that the origional one was on cell phones that were too expensive for Japanese KH fans to buy. So it didn't really make as much sales as SE had hoped. plus, the origional Coded didn't really have a big enough audience. So they remade it onto the DS console so that it would reach a more wider audience and because of the fact that the DS is the most popular Console.

Nomura said that there want be any remaking games (except final mixes)
