February 22, 201114 yr There are three forms of Japanese that the Japanese people speak, read, and write. Those are Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. I should know since I myself am learning to read and speak Japanese.
February 22, 201114 yr @Soratheking- I think that only applies to Japanese writing lol. Speaking is just called Japanese.

EDIT: i was looking at all three of them and i think it is between Katakana or Kanji
February 23, 201114 yr its probably mostly Kanji and Hiragana, Katakana is used more in order to translate words that are not originally japanese.

(I think) Anyway there's katakana, which is usually used for foreign words and names; hiragana, which is more or less the japanese alphabet; and there's kanji, which is words like "light" "darkness" "world" "love" "friends" etc. (failed at explaining kanji)
