How can they not like DLC but still let Sony put PSone disney classics on the PSN?!

Featured Replies

cuz disney has began to move to the dark side DRAMATICLY SOUND

Because Disney's effing weird like that.

Because Disney is VERY messed up, what with the sitcoms and disney channel and all that. It's the only explanation.

Think about the section before you post, this has nothing to do with the first Kingdom Hearts game.

However yeah, some companies don't like the whole "online distribution" thing and prefer to stick with a more traditional approach.

It's fair enough. They have their reasons.

^Those to quotes sum it up!

Disney dont like DLC?

well that'll suck for KH3 on the consoles, no DLC, since i notice square enix also doesn't seem to release DLC for any of their games

DLC is not favored by some companies as they have to make sure it fits into the existing game code properly. Believe it or not, building a game from scratch is a lot easier than trying to squeeze somthing into an already complete game. The way some companies get by this is that the DLC is already in the game, but the thing you actually download is just a digital code that allows you to access that content.

True DLC though is problematic and often introduces annoying glitches that the game never had before. It's been done many times though but some companies are good at it, others aren't. Disney and Square Enix are the ones that aren't.

SE have begun experimenting though with DLC especially through Dissidia 012, itsbasic stuff though but I barely buy DLC anyway so it barely matters.

don't worry everyone if capcom makes another disney game it will have DLC.

lol, why would capcom make a disney game?

but yeah, Capcom's DLC can be annoying, generally it's just unlock keys to release content that's on the disc and they want you to pay more for it.
