Why did Terranort emerge at Radiant Garden before Aqua fights him? Terra and Xehanort definitely have stronger ties to the Land of Departure for both of them. Even Destiny Islands makes sense because that Xehanort's home world so why would Terranort emerge in Radiant Garden.

I've been wondering about that myself. It could be that Xehanort and Braig planned on one day joining Ansem the Wise, in order to use his equipment for plans to perform the Heartless tests.

 

It's pretty obvious that Terranort expected Aqua to find him there, since Terra called out to Aqua when she was standing outside of Castle Oblivion. There may be another reason, but I don't know.

It was because of the explosion of the X-Blade back at the Keyblade Graveyard. That explosion transported him to Radient Garden. That was why he was there gazing at the stars.

I think that the explosion just makes people randomly teleport somewhere like Aqua and Ven appeared in the Lanes Between.

I don't think it's coincidental that he ended up at the place where Braig was from and where the keyhole to darkness was...Then again, maybe it was. Aqua and Ven would be together because they were blasted away together, Terranort was farther away. But it may be possible that he influenced his destination, leaving options for him and all that stuff.

Because thats where Terra got taken over by MX. His mind is there, trapped. So i think..
