I have around 10 games in total, and I'm thinking of reviewing them. I'll start by KH: ReCoded:
The story starts when Jiminy Cricket realizes a Mysterious Message has shown up in his blank journal; "Their Hurting will be mended when you return to end it."
Mickey analyzes this message and deduces that even tough there's nothing of the journey written there anymore, Data still exists in the Journal, and calls Chip and Dale to digitalize the journal and try to find out where the Message came from and what it means. So all they had to do was trace the message? No, there were bugs and glitches that made it impossible to decipher the Journal's pages. Goofy suggests then, that they got someone already in the journal to fix the datascape- what they had called the journal's "inside".
You play as a KH1 data version of Sora, with the same controls as in KH358/2D, but with a mix of KHBBS command style.
when you choose what strength to give up and which ones to keep(I recommend NOT giving up magic, you'll get a spell, Cure or Fire/Thunder), Sora somehow winds up back at DESTINY ISLANDS. As many would call his an "Amnesia Sora", he really isn't the same Sora as we've seen, rather a second version of him, but completely reset. As Mickey explains to Sora what his purpose is, Sora explores around to find the glitches- Blocs, or for their real names, Blox.
Inside some of these, you will find prizes, some which you will have to equip in your Stat Matrix, where you will unlock your abilities, level up, and upgrade your character. It is essential to the game, or else you WILL be screwed as hell.
So you go around the world, to find what appears to be the same person in a black coat as you found in Sora's dream, battling Tidus so that he gives you a clue, and completing one of Selphie's quests(and of course, getting many rewards for that)
You find yourself inside a System sector- A special hidden area you'll have to find in all worlds, where you must defeat all the bugs- Normally in forms of completely black Heartless with different colored panels around them- and later on the game, even completing special challenged for extra SP, points you get to spend on prizes after completing the sector.. depending of the colors, it means they're busted in one thing:
Yellow-Speed
Blue-HP
Red-Strength and Endurance(will never be staggered)
Green- Defense and size. (will be bigger then normal)
Sometimes, after completing the System Sectors you will fix glitches, as making invisible Bridges appear, or restoring a door, or maybe even making obstacles disappear.
Anyway, after you follow the hooded figure into the "SECRET PLACE", he will leave behind a Keyhole, where you enter. You will find yourself in a completely dark version of DESTINY ISLANDS, where you must face the Darkside. A pretty easy boss, you'll have no problem with it. Magic can be pretty helpful in this fight, I recommend battling Tidus a lot and getting as many Potions as you can from him, in case you don't have to Cure spell, and equipping them.
