In this new tittle to th series, you will be playing as a digital version of Sora, trying to fix bugs and glitches inside Jiminie's Journal, to decipher a mysterious message that has appeared, "Their Hurting WIll be Mended when you return to End It". As you explore many worlds from the Original KH, and one world from Kingdom Hearts CoM, you must complete worlds by destroying bugs and Heartless.
Each world will have at least one System Sector, a special area where you must go in, complete challenges and defeat enemies, to get SP(sector points) and exchange them for prizes.
KHRe:Coded has a mix of gameplay from KHDAYS, KHBBS, and the original KHCODED,
which adds a pretty nice battle system. The Graphics are similar to KHDAYS, but abilities and spells have been added, as well as a neat Weapon Upgrading system. AT some points of the game, the gameplay style will change between, side scrolling stages, 3D shooting, or even Final Fantasy-Like battles! This can be pretty annoying, since you can't practice as much as you normally do, but it's pretty fun if you get the hang of it.
This game is short, and not many Boss Battles will be hard, as you can EASILY level up in this game, and you can use cheats in the Stat Matrix, a new way to customize your character, to make the game easier.
Everytime you beat a world, one HQ cutscene will be shown, which is pretty cool, but rather pointless, as they are pretty much the EXACT SAME THING as in the original Coded. The Special Movie, tough, is a exception, and is very important to the main KH plot. This game will be pretty tiring, because you'll be repeating many worlds a lot, and that gets annoying and seriously made me wish the game ended quickly.
The story is pretty pointless. You have to learn how to face an energy called "hurt" for the whole game, by defeating bugs who originated from Data of Namin
