||~Never Enough~|| (1x1 w/ Zexion/Ienzo)

Recommended Posts

"Because I look at you enough as it is," He paused, realizing how sharp and probably mean that sounded. He wasn't...he didn't want to be mean to Izaya, not this early in the morning. Frankly, if Izaya would promise that the two of then would be like this forever he'd never yell a single word at the male ever again. Or, he'd try not to. So he quickly corrected himself. "I-I meant that I always have my attention on you, I thought you'd get tired of it."

It was only AFTER Shizuo said that that he realized how creepy that made him sound. Honestly, it gave the impression that he was a stalker of some type or that he fantasized over Izaya...

"You do, huh?" He asked, a bit suspicious of what he really thought of him by now. They had that whole awkward talk about temptation last night, so he really didn't want to bring that up again. As a last resort, though not a method of seduction (Well...Actually...), he snuggled into the crook of his neck, purring in content. "I'd never get tired of your attention, Shizuo."

Guuuuurrrl, Shizuo be tripping xD

.

.

.

Blush infiltrated the blond's face an neck at the comment and the hot breath Izaya may or may not have accidentally puffed against his rather sensitive skin. He wouldn't lie--his neck was probably the most sensitive part on his body next to his...ah, Heiwajima the II per say.

"O-Oh?" Shizuo respond back, fighting to keep his hands from shaking. "Why is that?"

To be honest, Izaya couldn't explain why he liked his attention so much. The only reason he could think of, was... "I love you...Shizu-kun." He put extra emphasis on his name, trying not to sound shy or anything. That'd be a bit too out of character, even for him.

Shizuo felt his brown eyes widen in shock, not expecting that of all answers to be his response. After all, they ha been enemies for the longest time and now he was being told he was loved by said enemy. Shizuo closely inspected Izaya and gulped, realizing he was serious. He actually loved him. He didn't know what to say.

"O-oh....I.....well, I...like you to."

Izaya frowned a bit, looking up at him again. "Do you like me, or do you love me?" He asked, eyeing him dangerously. He really hoped that it was the latter. There was a fine line between 'liking' someone and 'loving' them.

Shizuo looked down at Izaya, a bit more serious as he tilted the male's head up just barely by his chin with two fingers. He couldn't even believe he was doing this now of all times...

"I love you." Shizuo stated, leaning down and kissing Ixaya softly for online few seconds.

Izaya felt their lips touch and he didn't want them to seperate. He kept him there, sifting his fingers through Shizuo's hair and making their kiss deeper. He flipped them over too, so that Shizuo was on top, making their position more comfortable. "Mm..."

((Kicking of with a new arc~))

"I thought you said we had a chicken roast in the freezer to cook!" A stray plate was whopped furiously through the air at a certain blond's head from a certain angry brunette. Her usual peaceful lips were pierced into an irritated line as Saki growled, stomping her foot, hands on her hips as she jabbed her finger in the direction of the freezer. Which was torn into ribbons. "You lied to me!"

Kida, frantic, put his arms up in defense, trying to block whatever objects were thrown at him, and failing miserably. Since he had ran away with Saki, she had...changed. She wasn't the kind-hearted, trustworthy girl he had fallen in love with. She was a controlling bitch. He hated the new her; whatever got her this way... He hated it. "Well, I..." He stammered, searching for the right words. He knew she'd contradict him no matter what he'd say. "I thought we did!"

"Well obviously we didn't!" Saki gave an exasperated sigh, slamming the freezer shut and proceeding to stomp across the kitchen in her heels irritably, acting as if Kida was a waste of her time and effort at the moment. "I specifically asked for a roast and you get FRIED chicken. What point of FRIED don't you get?! Am I speaking French? Je veux du poulet frit!" She yelled, throwing her hands up in aggravation as she continued to mutter under her breath.

He flinched as her heavy footsteps were heard throughout the house. He sat there for a while, regretting ever trusting her so much, and got up, refusing to make dinner that night. He was so upset, that he didn't sleep at night, reflecting on how wonderful his life was back in Ikebukuro. He missed Mikado and Anri and even Izaya sometimes. Living with this girl was like hell for him... But like hell anyone would really believe her change of heart if he told anyone... Except, maybe... Wait, he still had the chatroom, didn't he? That would be his decision; he could tell them over the Internet.

Mikado sighed. It had been two months since Kida had left to run away with his "girlfriend" Saki Mikajima and Mikado had to admit...he missed te blond. More often then not he'd complain about how obnoxious Kida had been or how stupid his flirtatious actions had been but in all honesty he missed all of that. He thought it'd he great to have Anri to himself to get to know but it really wasn't. He missed his best friend and, well, Mikado couldn't help bit think as he signed on to chat on the Dollars domain that he felt just a bit betrayed.

Kida was eager to find out how Mikado had been doing since he was gone... It must have been better than what he was going through right now. He signed on, trying his best to forge a happy tone. Right now, he and Mikado were the only ones online... That was better. He didn't want others to hear. It'd be a bit awkward if that happened. "Hi! Sashiburi desu!" (It's been a long time.)

Mikado looked to see a chipper voice enter his chatroom speakers and Kida's icon pop onto the chat. Well speak of the devil. The ravenette smiled even though the blond wouldn't see it and hid his distressed tone with his usual nervous yet collected one. The one Kida knew best.

"Hey. It has hasn't it? I was wondering when you'd show up." Mikado stated somewhat cheerfully as a greeting, getting himself comfortable in his bed with his lap top open on his lap.

"Well," Kida hesitated, then continued with a smile. "Saki kept me back a bit. Sorry." He gulped audibly, hoping it wasn't heard through the chat. He remembered how Saki had scolded him for leaving his shoes out in the open before she had gone out to go get groceries. (This time she had insisted he wouldn't go with her since his food choices are shit.) Now, he was alone in the house, with only his laptop to keep him company. "Hey, is it okay if I talk to you about something a little...personal?" He fidgeted.

Mikado blinked. It really must have been a long time. If Kida had to actually ask him to talk to him about something private then Kida must have forgotten how close they had been. Seriously. Mikado could vaguely recall the point and time where Kida could just pull him aside and talk to him worry free of Mikado minding one bit. If Kida asked him, he'd stop in the middle of a gang war with the Blue Squares to listen to some personal issues.

"Of course you can," He said with an incredulous tone. "You don't have to ask my permission to tell me."

Kida made a small noise of acceptance. He didn't know if Mikado would really believe this or not... He was afraid that if he worded it awkwardly, it'd sound like bullshit. But he didn't have much time. Saki was a speed-shopper; she'd get back in about 20 minutes. He couldn't afford hesitating anymore. "It's about Saki... She's not being...herself anymore. I don't know anymore. She's just being so cruel to me, and I don't know why or what I did wrong... Honestly, I don't think I love her like I used to."

Well Mikado hadn't been expecting that and, frankly, he didn't know what reaction he should give. Part of him was sympathetic that Kida had fallen out of love when he was sure he ha been the one but part of him was angry that, well, that he had shamelessly run away with her without telling anyone where he was going. Did he not think that

Maybe things wouldn't work out between the two of them? It irritated Mikado to think is absence was in the very essence, unecessary.

"O-Oh...I see..." He mumbled, caught between playing nice or snapping slightly. "And...this upsets you, obviously?"

Kida blinked. Mikado had never been good at giving relationship advice since he himself wasn't too good with girls or anything like that, but really? He sighed lightly. "Well, yeah... I miss the old Saki, and I miss you. I thought of going back, but I don't want Saki to follow me or anything. On top of that, I want to know...if you can forgive me for leaving so suddenly like that?" He was bringing up a touchy subject, and he just wanted Mikado to know that he wanted to go back to Ikebukuro desperately to go back to the way it once was.

((Lol, that was oddly honest of Kida.))

"Of course I...could forgive you." Mikado replie quickly, covering up his slight unforgiving feelings for Kida at the moment. After all, the blond needed him to be supportive, not a dick. He could spare hiding his emotions a bit longer.

"I'd love to see you back in Ikebukuro. I--...Anti and I seriously miss you."

That made Kida smile at his screen and make him feel a lot better about this whole situation. He was so glad that he could forgive him. He had so much to deal with, between Saki and whether he wanted to go back or not and just... URGH. It was a lot. He opened his mouth to speak, then closed it. Then decided, no, he wanted to tell him this. "M-Mikado, I--" Just as he was about to come out with it, he heard the doorknob jiggle. Saki was home. firetruck. He had to shut off the laptop, quick. He gasped, stammering a bit in panic. "S-Saki's home! I'll talk to you later!" He signed off quickly, shutting his laptop down.

Flippy sat comfortably under a tree, an arm draped across his stomach in content and his head leaning against the trunk. It was a fine day out... The sun was shining, the birds were singing, no one was getting killed... yes, it was indeed a day to cherish. Not only was it Flippy's third month from out of the war, it also meant he had time to himself. People hadn't really cared for him, and he hadn't cared for them. Oh, welcome back, they'd say. Or, Where were you? ... It's not like Flippy cared too much.

Splendid hummed lightly under his breath as he observed his surrounding area with content. There was no crime activity today, no sudden deaths that had to be observed, nothing out of the ordinary. Splendid was happy to say that for once he was having a normal day outside of his usual "save the world and accidentally kill everybody" routine. No danger meant no lives to be lost on his behalf. And that fact in I itself made today quite pleasant as he wandered about, waving here and there to a few of the other aquaintences he recognized up an about.

"Such a good day..."

((PFFT, I fail.))

Perhaps Splendid had spoken too soon. Flippy, lonely, watched as Cuddles and Giggles talked together. He didn't know if they knew there was a cliff right behind them, but they found out when Giggles stumbled back and accidentally fell off, her blood curdling scream ripping through the air. Cuddles jumped, too awestruck and afraid to lift a finger and help her. Flippy shrugged... He wasn't capable of any better. Just 'cause he was a war veteran doesn't mean he could fly.
