April 12, 201114 yr it was put together really well. the way you discribed this person makes it sound like a relative of yours...which i bet he is. the overall outcome of this poem was simple and focused on one thing, describing someone. keep up this great work and your bound to get an excellent grade in the class that you did this for.
April 13, 201114 yr I'm sorry....i have a bad habit of stating the obvious sometimes...i should've stopped when i said 'it was put together really well.' again i'm sorry.

Memories
There was once a man,Who was funny, sarcastic and caring.
Who could crack a joke
And make anyone smile,
Not just smile,
But die of laughter.
Nowadays though,
He forgets.
His memories are fading,
One by one like
When you eat a bowl of M&Ms,
Ones gone another gone,
Until there are only a few left,
That you save.
He remembers names,
Not faces.
He takes naps and then
Puts his shows and ball-cap on,
And leaves the house,
Thinking of going to a job,
That he has been retired from for 20 years.
Someone then gets up,
To get him,
To stop him and ask
