The worlds greatest heroes are of course keeping the world safe, no one knows there story but they are more popular than the famous Kardashian's. These two heroes have more paparazzi than anyone but they can actually get away. But the question everyone wants to know is, is the power duo a power couple?

Power: If he so pleases he can destroy anything he touches, and he has metal talons on his back to help him climb. and super strength.

Allen laughed and pulled the blanket up over them both "I don't know maybe there is a carpet man dont want you to be kidnapped by something like that, kind of embarrassing to be kidnapped by freaks twice but hey I think I'll be fine by tomorrow I'll go on patrol tommorrow with you, hopefully to many tabloids didn't see us today when I got blasted away it's bar enough the bad guys think we are a couple but now the tabloids might" Allen said

Natalie Rose shrugged. "I don't think anyone probably thought that. It was dark and there was a fire. Why wouldn't we both show up? Hopefully they couldn't see us well, either. It's pitch black out there." She sighed. "Allen, you don't have to go on patrol with me. You might just end up hurting yoursf worse. I'm going to investigate that place that caugt on fire, and if the meteor shards are there you might get sick again. I'll be fine. I could beat up carpet man, if there is one." She laughed. "Anyone with a name that lame can't exactly be very scary."

Allen laughed "I don't know but go ahead and check things out I guess I will stay here and cover for you or just chill out here but again let's discuss it tommorow and we. We'll go to bed now because we've been through slot, you being kidnapped and me being blasted from a building it will make you sore I mean look I still have cuts you still a tape mark over your mouth still." Allen said letting out a yawn as he wrapped his arm around her and kissed her forehead

Natalie Rose sighed. "Yeah, I guess your right." She stared at the wall for a minute before closing her eyes. And who was to say no one would bother them now? They were going to be asleep, injured, and exhausted. Perfect targets. She considered staying up to be the guard for the night in case someone had seen them fly into her room. That resolve lasted about three minutes, and she was sound asleep. At least she didn't have to worry about school.

Allen let out a yawn and fell asleep and he dreamt about thousands of super freaks surrounding him and fleet. Allen woke up and looked to his side to see Natalie wrapped around his arm sleeping. Allen took her off and laid her on the bed and tucked her in as he snuck out the window and limped to the mcdonalds that was nearby where he decided to get some breakfast for her hospitality and trying nurse him back. He finished his order and brough it to her and decided to wake her up to eat

(HOW ARE YOU OUT OF SCHOOL AT 4:25? D: I had half an hour after school sports, and I didn't get home till 5:20 )

 

Natalie Rose rubbed her eyes groggily. "Huh?" It took her a minute to pull Allen and the bag of McDonalds into focus. "Allen, you didn't have to get anything for me. I can cook--sort of. I took Life Skills in 6th Grade, so I can make chocolate chip cookies, at least. What if someone had attacked you? They've already tried. You're too worn out to put up a decent fight." She sat up and opened the bag of McDonalds. "What time is it?" She glanced at her alarm clock. "It didn't go off! Ugh, this thing is so old. I'm not even sure the alarm works anymore."

Allen let out a chuckle. "I didn't get attacked and I feel a little better but since you are patroling and givign me a place to rest, I thought I'd get you breakfast and the mcdonalds is too good to attack, who would attack it?" Allen asked. He then pulled out his food and started to eat realizing it had been a while since he ate. He then looked at her. "Are you going to becareful out there? I don't want to find out that one of your powers/weaknesses is getting kidnapped alot" Allen said "Text me in the first sign of trouble

Natalie Rose rolled her eyes. "Yeah, well something could have happened. And I wouldn't have known about it for a while." She glanced out her window. Some of the rubble that had been blasted away during the explosion was sitting on the roof of the townhouses across the street. "I'll be fine. I'm not usually kidnapped anyway. I don't think anyone is." She brushed the crumbs off of her pajamas. "I'm going to tell my mom I'm going to school, and then I'll go patrolling. I'll be back soon."

"Alright send me updates as soon as possible." Allen said as she left the room. He laid on her bed and got super bored so he snooped around her room until he found a little book with the words Nat's Dairy. He felt bad so he didn't read it but luckily he found a piano and plugged his headphones into it as he started to play a melody he made up but was surprised to notice it sounded pretty darn good, he'd sing but he had to wait for her parents to leave aswell

"Mom, I'm going to school!" Natalie Rose sang as she walked out the door. Instead of catching her bus, though, she pulled off her regular clothes, revealing Fleet's costume underneath. She jumped into the air. From an aerial view, there was nothing particularly interesting about the rubble. Just broken pieces of furniture and plenty of bricks. Firefighters were stumbling through the wreckage, though the fire was long over. She couldn't stay while they were here, though. She did a little mid-air flip and spun in the other direction to give a quick sweep of the town.

Allen then heard the door close and he started to hum a tune and realized he was super bored when he heard that he was playing elmo's world on piano. He then decided to lay back down on her bed, once again tempted to read the diary which ended up open in his hand. "What could it hurt" Allen said as he opened it reading through looking for deep dark secrets like fetishes, or something juicy like that

It was almost disappointing to find the city was peaceful and secure. If she had to wake up so early, she at least wanted something to do rather than fly aimlessly around. Where was the fun in that? Deciding, finally, that she wasn't going to find any bad guys, Natalie Rose flew towards home. It took her only a few minutes to land lightly on her windowsill. She slipped gently inside, careful not to make much noise in case her mom hadn't left for work yet. "Allen!" She kept her voice low, hoping that if her mom was still home, she wouldn't hear. "Why are you reading that?" She snapped her diary shut, feeling her cheeks turn red. "You didn't read anything, did you?"

Allen was stunned, he was going to tell the truth and say that he didn't read anything but he knew he would need black mail, luckily he has great knack for lying so he knew he could get away with any lie he told her. "Umm Sorry but I'm not sure if I can look at you the same, I'm sorry I was looking for just like poems or something but I saw multiple things that stunned me, I didn't know you liked that kind of thing or would do something like that" Allen said knowing she'd say something that was in there and embarresing.

Natalie Rose felt her cheeks get even redder. This is just a dream. She reminded herself. You'll wake up soon. There's NO WAY he actually read anything. She tried to appear unconcerned. "Well what could you have found in there, Allen? I don't have anything exciting in there--really. It's just recording all my boring days at school. There isn't much to read in there." She snatched her journal back and ran her fingers nervously over the cover. This was a joke, she was sure.

Allen stood up and grunted, still sore from the night before. He limped towards her and put his finger under her chin "You think what you must, I'm not going to say anything about the names you wrote in there, certain strange things you liked to do" Allen gave her a kiss on the lips, it was the first time they had ever kissed each other on the lips. He realized what he done actually not realizing he just did that but then he leaned back in for a kiss but didn't lean the whole way just in case she didn't want to kiss him back.

Natalie Rose was slightly caught off guard. Of what she'd been expecting when she returned, this wasn't it. Only a moment ago, she'd been panicking that he'd actually read something. And while there was nothing dark and secretive in her diary, there were some embarrassing things she really didn't want Allen to see. She suddenly didn't feel so angry, though. Sort of relieved, in a weird way. "Allen, don't you think it's just a little sad that this is, in two years, the first time we've kissed?"

Allen blushed a little and grinned "I'm sorry that took so long but as you know, I'm very shy and a skidish person, just look at you, I just get nervous being around you, I never thought I'd get to actually date you and let alone kiss you, I mean that right there took alot of man power out of me. I just don't understand why me when I see her beautiful, smart, and talented you are. Then looking at me all I see is a scared, quiet, shy, mess. But yes I do find it weird" Allen said

Natalie Rose blushed slightly. "Thanks," And, as was always in the case in her life, something bad just had to happen. The ground shook violently, and she turned to look out her window. Only her house was shaking. The cars on the road were fine, and the people walking along the sidewalks look undisturbed. "What on earth is going on?" She glanced at Allen. "Guess I should probably go all superhero now." Thankful she still had her Fleet costume on, she took a little jump from the window. The house didn't look like it was shaking at all, but she could see the things in her room flying around, disturbed by the movement. "This isn't an earthquake..."

Allen was still in the house and was putting his suit on when the floor started crackling as it was caving in. Allen then thought of her parents and made sure no one was in the house. He couldn't find anyone so he started running for the door but tripped as the house started caving in and fell on top of him. He had one hand out reaching for the door and one hand melting the rubble on top of him. He knew if he could get outside he'd be good but he just couldn't reach he fought with all his might when this red ripple came out of his extended arm and blasted through the wall completely. Allen got all the rubble off of himself and he bolted outside as the whole house fell. Allen looked around and screamed "NATALIE?" Making sure she was okay..

Natalie Rose landed lightly beside Allen. "I'm fine," She took a step towards the humongous pile of rubble at her feet. Tears sprang to her eyes, but she refused to cry. "Someone rigged this," She backed away and scanned the street. Nothing really seemed out of place. No super villains lurking around or anything. "It was supposed to crush us, I think. Why else would it only affect my house?" Then she realized something even scarier than someone trying to kill her. "Oh no! What are my parents going to think!? They'll have a heart attack if they see this! There's no way I could explain this!"

Allen laughed and thought in his mind yeah don't worry about how you almost lost your boyfriend, go ahead and think about your parents. "Well how bout we stage it like a robbery gone way wrong? We could set you up in the basement and your parents run down there to see there baby girl tied up in the basement looking scared and like a normi (normal person) and they won't suspect a thing, they may get mad for those darn super heroes not saving you but they won't think you will be a super hero or blame you for the accident. We should get you down there before they get home. That way they think you went to school so they don't see you've been tied up down there for hours." Allen said as he waited for a reply

Natalie Rose hesitated. She really wasn't the type of girl who played damsel in distress. That was why she was the superhero, not some girl on the sideline. What her parents thought was slightly more important than her ego right now, though. "Later," She sighed. "Only right before they get home." Natalie Rose grinned. "And what are you going to do? Pretend you got tied up too?"

"Um no, they don't know I was here they think I was at school, I'm just going to go home after I tie you up then you can say to your parents 'I need to call Allen to tell him I'm okay, he was trying to get a hold of me after school' and they'll believe it. They'll be worried about there daughter to where they'll just be happy that you are safe and weren't killed. Trust me I know how these things worked. I've rescued people in these situations." Allen said to her "What do we do now, we have some time to kill"

"I've got ten dollars in my pocket, but we're probably not going to get very far with that. I'm not sure, I guess we could just go to the park or something easy. My mom should be home in the next five hours, so whatever we do has to be close by." Natalie Rose paused for a moment, and then laughed. "Well, I guess we could go to the amusement park. The state fair just opened, and it's only a little ways down the road. I saw a commercial that said admission was only five dollars. We could just go there until she comes back. I wouldn't mind a couple of roller coasters."

"Sounds good I have 30 so we're good" Allen said as he put his hands in his pockets. "Lets take a nice walk down there then you can speed us back in time. But I just want to take a walk with my lovely girlfriend after a near death experience I just want to hold you close" Allen said as he got ready to walk but if they wanted they could just put their super hero costumes on and get in all the lines for free and get in the front.

 

"How does that sound?" Allen asked as he stuck his arm out for her to wrap around if she wished
