Minecraft got boring after Alpha...

:( how could you say such a bad thing

:( how could you say such a bad thing

Because, after Alpha notch added absolutely nothing that made the game worth playing more than an hour. Really it's only been random ass blocks which are only good for aesthetic purposes, nerfed the railroad system, and added pistons which aren't nearly as good as I thought.

I guess the game is still fun for people who solely want to build, but Minecraft is a game about survival, and after a while surviving is ridiculously easy, there are no challenges to overcome after a certain point.

Thats what 1.8 is for. It's the adventure update.

I know it's the adventure update. But that doesn't change a thing. Sure it will add a few more hours of gameplay but it will get dull eventually.

Ever play Spore? If not, it was a lot of fun at first, but got boring, repetitive and ridiculously easy after a while. The geniuses at EA (morons) said "Ok we will add an In depth Adventure mode to stop this!" and sure enough Galactic Adventures was born. It was even more fun than the original spore, but alas afterward it got boring, repetitive, and once again, easy.

This has happened with many other games and Minecraft is just repeating history.

every game gets boring sometimes

every game gets boring sometimes

I know that but Minecraft got boring before it was even completed (remember, it's still in beta). That just goes to show that Minecraft, while an amazing and fun game at first, still needs work.

i already got the pre-release, its really fun. i had alot of fun in adventure and creative mode.

I had installed this KH Texture pack, and was gonna go for the toomanyitems and then guess what? I lost Minecraft, ad will need to reinstall it.

At last I have my own account.
