This is the first part of Spoony's Final Fantasy VIII review. He's also reviewed Final Fantasy X and is in the middle of X-2. I figured that you all might enjoy watching this as much as I did. *Note* I'm one of the Fanboys that'll buy anything Square puts out no matter what. In fact I plan to buy TWEWY since I've been meaning to for a while and KH3D now gave me motivation to do so.

I enjoy his reviews on a comedy basis, but I would be lying if I said I agreed with what he said during them, especially his FFX review (particularily that he messes up plot points, complains about not knowing things that were explained in the game, he wasn't even playing it in the review.)

Well what he does later on is play them, record the footage, write a script, then record it. That's why he's not playing in that review.

Nah, as in none of the gameplay was his. He got someone else to play the game for him and record the footage.

No he seriously plays the game, you can't get pure hatred like his from just watching someone else's recording.

Yeah he played the game, but he had someone else REplay it and record everything so he didn't have to.

What would be the point of doing that. Why would he choose to make someone play a game he hates to play a game just for footage. And you know he would be the one kicking that chest for like three hours(can't remember the gag too much) randomly on that ship.

Probably because he didn't want to go through the extra effort, which is a reason why I'm not as big on his FFX review (though there was some genuinely good humor).

 

And that potion trick usually only works 3-10 times. It's an easter egg that he exhaggerated into another complaint about the game.
