Obviously no one likes the fact they need to click "HD 720p" all the time. So what's the best way to auto play YouTube videos in HD 720p?

    I don't think they allow that option. If you go into settings and select: Always choose the best option for me based on my player size and then tick the box: Always play HD when switching to fullscreen (when available) then that's the fastest way.
