Justin spun his lightsaber walking to Dooku's office. -What could he want now?- Justin thought. The doors opened automatically. "Hello, Justin. New assignment." Justin stood as if he were in the army, standing before a general. "Yes, Sith Lord, sir." he said. "Kill Zambus." Justin's eyes widened and he broke pose. "But isn't he the legend of the Sith?" Dooku nodded. "Destroy him, and I'll make you a Sith Lord. I've prepared your custom-made Ty Fighter. Leave at once. Dismissed." Justin gestured salutations, and walked to the Bridge, pressing the button on his light saber to return to the normal look. He shoved it in his pocket, next to his other one. He went past the cleaning droid, and entered the Ty fighter. He flew off to space.

Xorland scoffed.

"And you think I would..." He began to say, then trailed off.

He saw a figure loitering around near the hanger. He knew that person. Talon, an Ubese professional Jedi Hunter. He took his species's hatred for Jedi to new extremes. And if he was here, so were his partners, also Ubese, also fanatic Jedi haters. It didn't take long for Xorland to fit the facts and his earlier feeling through the force together. Dooku had called him and his team here as bait.

Xorland chuckled softly. Not a bad plan. Dooku should have just a less skilled Merc.

"Listen, Jedi." Xorland said in a quick and quiet tone. "I'm not the one you should be worrying about. There are five or six Ubese around here, one of which is several yards behind you. You know how Ubses like Jedi. These guys are worse. So, if you don't want to become the next victim of this Jedi killing ring, I suggest you get out of here and not through the way behind you."

"I appreciate your warning." he said. "And I appologize for the inconvenience. Go ahead and be about your buisiness." Jules headed back for his ship.

"At least he kept his nerve." Xorland thought as Jules walked away.

Xorland turned to get into his ship when he saw a sniper lining up a shot on Jules. Xorland turned on his helmet's comm system.

"Salanda?" he called.

"Here." She answered. "Situation?"

"Not good. It's a set up. Get out of here. I'm going to send a message to Dooku. I'll get off planet another way and contact you later."

Salanda was silent for a moment. She wouldn't like this at all, Xorland knew.

"Roger that." She said reluctantly. "See you later."

"Until then." Xorland said then shut down his comm.

He glanced back up to the sniper. He was first. He pulled his blaster pistol with his right hand and his lightsaber with his left. As the sniper fixed his aim and pulled the trigger, Xorland dashed over between the sniper and Jules, deflecting the shot with his lightsaber while returning fire with his blaster. One of the bolts hit the sniper and he goes down.

"Better get ready, Jedi." Xorland called over his shoulder. "We moved a little slow to get out of this without a fight."

"So, you also have a lightsaber." he said, drawing one of his lightsabers. "You must be the force-sensitive I sensed earlier." He blocked a couple laser blasts and got ready to fight.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Xorland called. "Us force users are one big happy family. Concentrate on the fight."

Xorland tossed his weapons into the air and caught them in the opposite hands. He spun his red lightsaber around in a defensive move while taking snap shots with his blast at a pair of Ubese that poked their heads.

Jules blocked some of the blaster fire as he ran at them. His plan was to rush them while they fired at him and Xorland. Then when he was close enough, he would draw his second lightsaber and slice them to end it. He put his plan into action as he ran. Diving over the shelter they hid behind, Jules drew his second saber and started slashing, killing a couple of them.

Xorland deflected the bolts coming from the two he was fighting. They were good. They knew how to concentrate their fire to keep a ligthsaber wielder off balance. But Xorland knew that game too. Summoning the force, he jumped high into the air. At the apex of the leap, he double tapped one gunman while he threw his lightsaber at the other. The double tap broke through the Ubese's helmet, killing him instantly. The lightsaber impaled the other to the ground. Xorland landed by them. Grabbing the hilt of his lightsaber, he slashed up as he pulled it out, drawing the blade throught the Ubese's chest and head.

Xorland glanced to check on Jules. Making a quick body count, he nodded.

"One left." He called to Jules. "He's the leader of this pack."

"Cover me, I'll search for him." Jules said. He sheathed his lightsaber and knelt on the ground. Closing his eyes, he reached out with the force to search for the leader.

Xorland jumped and ran toward Jules. He holstered his blaster and held his light saber in both hands in front of him. His eyes, enhanced by sensors in his helmet, danced around, trying to catch sight of the final Ubese. He didn't have to wait long.

"DIE, JEDI!" screamed Talon, shoulder a rocket launcher.

"Spast!" Xorland yelled.

Xorland jumped back and fired his blaster at Talon. The bolts bounced off the Ubese's armor, but it jarred him to miss fire the rocket launcher. It was still heading toward Jules.

Jules could sense the blast before it came, and knew where Talon was. He quickly jumped over the rocket and used the force to push himself in the direction of Talon, avoiding the explosion and shrapnel as he did so. He threw one of his lightsabers at Talon, decapitating him and grabbing his lightsaber as it came back. He landed on his feet and said "Are you alright?" He went over to Xorland to see if he was okay.

Xorland dusted himself off.

"I'm good." he replied. "It will take more then some second rate gun with a grudge to get me."

Xorland glanced around.

"I'd be careful, if I were you. You survived one attack. There's probably gonna be more."

(Fair enough, but there is a difference between using my character to move your character then me controlling your character. But, that's neither here nor there. I shall attempt to not do that in future with your character.)

"Well, actually, I'm on my way out of here, I just came to make a quick visit to the Jedi Temple." he explained. "I would have left sooner, but I recognized your ship from the logs and had to straighten things out there, then we got attacked. I hope you find a way back to your ship, they may come looking for you now." Jules jumped into the cockpit and said "R4, you ready for take-off?" His R4 unit beeped in confirmation as Jules closed the cover to his ship. He waived goodbye to Xorland as he left Coruscant.

Xorland nodded back. He then dragged all the bodies together to search them, looking for clues as to who Dooku's agent was that had set this up. He or she probable was watching and was rabbiting. Xorland hit pay dirt when he found on Talon's corpse a datapad with contact info and a hotel key card.

"Let's see what kind of person you sent, Dooku." Xorland muttered to himself as he headed out to find a speeder.

Once Jules left Coruscant, he thought about where he would go next. He finally decided to visit his former homeworld of Iridonia. He input the coordinates into his Navigation system and prepared his hyperdrive for lightspeed travel. Normally, the Jedi Starfighters didn't have this capability, but Jules's ship was modified to utalize this function. Once the hyperdrive was ready, he went into Hyperspace.
