So I had played Infamous 1 months ago for a few minutes and I thought it was fun so I played it again in late September. I got a tidbit far and started to get into it. Now a week ago I played the game for like 8 hours and I have fallen in love with the game. One thing that shocked about the game is that you do the same exact thing pretty much the whole time (missions, side missions, Hero/Evil missions etc.), but its still enjoyable. The only missions that I dont enjoy that much are the ones were you have to destroy the devices that are spread across the building. Being able to choose between good and evil is also really cool. The fact that coles physical look and attacks change depending on your choices is pretty awesome. The game is rather fast paced which I enjoy because slow games drag, but it puts a little bit of excitement in the game. There are a wide variety of abilities and attacks which for the most part are extremely useful (Static hover, Electric grenade, and shockwave, etc.). They can be leveled up by gaining which is gained through defeating enemies, Bio leeching or capturing them, Healing people, completing missions/side missions, and doing tricks through attacks. Basically Cole is a package delivery guy and he is delivering a package that blows up. He wakes up in a crater and finds out that he has electric based superpowers. The city is then quarntined and Cole I guess is trying to save it from gangs. Now to the ratings.
Gameplay: 9/10 It is kind of tough to aim at people from time to time, but usually its not to hard.
Plot & Scripting: 10/10 The plot and script is almost perfect and understandable. Makes you kind of feel like your in the game.
Variety: 7/10 The one thing the game needs is a little more variety. So far Ive fought two gangs. The reepers have 4 different types. Normal, Large, Conduit, and kamakazi. The trashbag people (I forget the name) have 3 I beleive. Normal, Kamakazi, and the dude with the robots. (It would be nice if someone could clarify this part.). Their are plenty of abilities and attacks. Most are really useful although precision can be useful it can just make things harder.
Graphics: 10/10 I played this game in 1080 HD and the game looked almost real. I wasnt even judging the game by its graphics, but I was just amazed by how real it looked.
Ive only played this game through to the part where you save Zeke from the shipyard, but Im pretty sure Ive seen enough to judge.
