Resident Evil 5 is not a racist game!

Posted

Resident Evil 5, otherwise known as "Biohazard 5" is not a racist game. Sure, it involves killing Africans, but there is also a strong African lead character, whose name is Sheva Alomar. Capcom didn't intend for it to be racist, either. I mean, who wants to keep shooting the same zombies, each and every Resident Evil? Why does it have to have the same setting? Why should there be no variation? Sure, killing Africans may spike the attentions of an Anti-Racism club or something, but it does not portray or insult Africans in anyway. Do you hear the main character say lines like, "Oh these guys have so much dirt on their skin." or "Oh, their skin is so black, let's clean them off!". It doesn't show Africans doing racist things, like laying in mud and packing it on their skin. And some of their skin may be 'black as night' but that isn't racist either. Some Africans may actually have skin that dark. Google some African people, or something.

I don't see why people view the game as a racial insult. In fact, to look at it another way, those Africans aren't even people. They're Zombies. Yes, zombies. Mindless flesh eating zombies. Which also explains why a big parasite comes out of their mouth and tries to eat your face. Because it's what they do. They're zombies. Get over it. If it were an actual racial insult, then the creators of the game wouldn't make it so they're zombies. It would be straight up Africans your shooting. There's a fun game for racist people. But no, these guys are zombies. If it were racist, Obama would have closed Capcom down. Why? Because he's President. African President of the USA. 5 bucks says he's played it as well, if not seen at least a gameplay video or trailer.

If you want to play a racist game, play Ratchet and Clank. At least in that game you're killing a different race of people. Aliens. Aliens that might actually exist. When Alien kind comes to United States, they're going to kill the creators or Ratchet and Clank first.

Resident Evil 5 is the best game ever, in my opinion, right next to Silent Hill. Resident Evil 5 may be racist to you, but you are just arrogant and stupid, if not ignorant and immature. In fact, go play Resident Evil 5 right now. Then come and tell me if you find anything at all racist.

tl;dr

To the title: Yep it isn't. Why should it be? Was RE4 racist for killing Hispanics? Was RE2 racist for killing Caucasians?

Technically, they aren't Zombies, as they don't really eat flesh, nor are they undead. RE1-3 were all about killing zombies, however RE4 and 5 are about parasites infecting people and controlling them, so they aren't zombies. They're hosts for parasites.

Same shit different explanation. Since the parasite makes them abulic and makes them attack you which are the characteristics of zombies. But yeah you're right :>

I dont think that RE 5 is racist game at all. You wanna play Mercenaries some time?
