Fans and Critics agree that the Uncharted series is Sony’s flagship series with many like me saying Uncharted 2 was best game on PS3.So it would be hard for developers Naughty Dog to beat such a great game and i honestly say that they do indeed make game that’s better than Uncharted 2 in every single way.

The thing that makes Uncharted stand out than others games is presentation and story.The story is more of buddy film that action movie it develops better friendship between Sully and Drake and shows how they first met.The rest of the characters might not get as much screen time these two but they have great charactization which makes all characters very believable and interesting.The story unlike Uncharted 2 does not hit same story beats of the series and takes a different approach where you will be on edge of your seat. The story also does good job working in different set pieces in believable matter.It does great job using what character development was created in previous games to create perfect story with great script with some best scenes in gaming like the part where Drake says he sorry.

 

The presentation of story is better than almost any game out there where all elements of the game work together to create perfect single player experience.It mixes platforming and gun play perfectly you don’t get too much of each in row and platforming gives you nice break from gun fights to catch breather. The voice acting and score add great deal to the overall story where none voice acting will disappoint and make you feel like your with characters in the story.The voice acting make script me real and add humor to the game.The score never feels like too much and blends well with the game.The sound effects are well done and everything sounds like they should.The visuals are best on playstation with amazingly beautiful like when you watch sand cascade from Drake's footsteps and water slosh across the screen with the wrinkles crinkle on characters faces.The forest and set pieces look beautiful and will take your breath away,Naughty Dog has outdid them itself.

(Elena and Nathan's relationship is one of best in gaming and is even better in Uncharted 3)

 

 

The game teaks to Uncharted’s gameplay have been being able to throw grenades that have been threw at you and having melee combat easer to use with the skills now to take peoples weapons when punching them.The online been improved some you always feel like making process and making games more even with things like power plays and boosters.Also having Drake react according to his surroundings is a nice feature.It also as hand to hand combat where you can take combat with multiple opponents, contextual melee attacks, and new stealth options and many more minor improvements have been added to Uncharted.

 

 

 

With these gameplay improvements have made gameplay alot more fun and climbing and shooting blend better in story than ever.Uncharted 2's clumsy stealth parts no longer exist. Perfecting the pacing and making everything look fantastic in the process thanks to cutting edge graphics and excellent cinematography make gameplay easier than ever to avoid it from being repetitive. The treasures are better hidden than ever.As much as love Uncharted 3 sometimes gunfights can feel like go on too long and cover system sometimes as problems knowing what your doing but these only minor problems with almost perfect game.

When you finish Uncharted 3 single player you want to complete again and it does deserves multiple playthroughs like all great games and movies. Multiplayer is deep as well as rewarding and will keep you coming back with great co-op that continues the single player feeling.The new modes they add are fun and if you have a bad game of multiplayer you never feel like you wasting your time when you have a bad game and you will get something in bad game.

 

To conclude Uncharted 3 is the best game on PS3 and does almost everything right ranging from great set pieces to one of best voice acting,visuals and stories in Playstation library.It’s easily one of my favourite games i’ve played this year and of this generation which why i have to give Uncharted 3 a perfect score when with problems i have because it does so much right so well.

I agree 100%, Ocelot. This game had every element in it. Beautiful graphics, awesome and exciting gameplay, really intriguing storyline, even the music and voice acting was perfect.

 

I think Uncharted 3 or Skyrim will win GOTY. I'll be happy with either!

Couldn't agree with you more. The game has beautiful graphics, stunning gameplay, and a great story plot. I o plan on picking the gane up sometime. As well as getting the Uncharted Dual pack.
