So in Birth By Sleep, Yen Sid's tower was a world by itself. In Kingdom Hearts 2, the tower was part of Twilight Town. My questions is, what is it all supposed to mean? Why is the tower in 2 places? Is there a reason hidden in sleep?

But if you look at the world pic, you will find it to be part of Twilight Town.

That whole thing was very complicated, I don't think the creators had fully figured out what they wanted to do with Mysterious Tower by that point, but by this point it's counted as a world on its own which has a special connection with another world, Twilight Town.
