Nintendo Direct [12/26/11] Sum-Up

Posted

This is a sum up of everything that happened during the livestream (that was new or important regarding KH13):

- Kid Icarus: Uprising is almost completed. In it's 'fine tuning' stages. 3v3 Online Multiplayer and Battle Royal (Online AND Local) as well as a new feature involving your 3DS friends has been confirmed. It is now on schedule for a March 22nd, 2012 release in Japan.

- A New Wii Game entitled, 'Kiwi Trick' was announced. From what was shown off, it is a new mini-game collection game (ie. Mario Party, Rhythm Heaven, WarioWare)

- A new Ghost Trick trailer shown off. Scheduled for a January 12th, 2012 release in Japan.

- Resident Evil: Revelations trailer shown, (Pretty sure it wasn't new, slight chance it might of had new footage though) Capcom has a 'Resident Evil Premium Party' event planned in Japan on January 20th, 2012.

- A new Dynasty Warriors Next trailer was shown off, (looks amazing, will import) Nintendo Character Costumes will be DLC.

- Fire Emblem: Kakuse was shown off with a new trailer, it will feature popular elements what were featured throughout the entire series, a free map system and a skill system from older entries. Fire Emblem: Kakuse will be the first Nintendo title to feature DLC and is scheduled for a April 19th, 2012 release in Japan.

- Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance was shown off with a shorter version of the short trailer which was shown off at the Jump Festa last week. Nothing new was talked about. :(

- Nintendo has announced that they will be hosting monthly 3D photo contest in Japan starting next month. A Japanese celebrity will be judging the photos and the winner shall receive Nintendo goods.

- Todidasu Pretty Cure is a photo editing application coming to the Japanese eShop next year, and similar to My Sims Camera. It is for little girls obviously.

- Princess RPG (I think that's what it is called) was shown off with a new trailer. Saw Cloud, L, and Akuma. Mind = Firetrucked.

- Iwata confirmed that demos for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D, Rhythm Thief, and Resident Evil Revelations will arrive to the Japanese eShop later today.

- Hatsune Miku and Future Stars Project Mirai was shown off with a new trailer. Looks amazing. Here's a song from the game to end this post:
