Snow lay down on the grass, staring up at the sky. The wind blew across the vale, scattering blades of grass and plant seeds up in the air. The clouds were morphing into many shapes, dancing around in the sky. He saw a strange sort of cloud. It looked like a sort of tentacle, licking trough the blue sky. "What a strange cloud..." he muttered to himself. He watched it grow, looming over the vale. Others grew alongside it, and licked through the clean vale air. Snow was now sure something was wrong. He sat up, and saw a black fog. It looked as if it was slowly treading toward the vale. He slowly rose to his feet, peering into the dark fog. His crystal pulsed, and Snow held his hand in pain. It was telling him that the fog wasn't your garden variety fog. He turned around and looked at the Lilty crystal, shining radiantly. Even the crystal didn't look normal.What on earth could be happening? he thought to himself.

Flash run down the city as strange people chased him. "There he is! Get him!" Flash jumped over gate and hided in downtown. "Why I'm being chased just because I'm clavat?" Flash watched as chasers leaved and then he went back at his home, well if he could have called it one, atleast he could watch the sky from there without being chased. Flash noticed that clouds moved strangely, like they we're spinning around the town and gathering. "What is this, this isn't normal?" He decided to go investing soon and took three knifes inside his coat if someone would chase him again. "World is changing"

"Crystal Bearer! Go check out what's wrong, for God's sake!" Everybody ranted at him. "If that Crystal Bearer saved us long ago, you can too." Snow sighed. "Alright, alright. I'll go see what's wrong." He sighed and walked outside Alfitaria's city gates. He looked into the distance. The black fog had now spread over the city, and no citizens dare went out. Their crystal provided shelter. He began trudging across the plains when he heard a screech. Farther into the distance was a goblin.Snow ignored it and continued. "Better go see how the Yukes are doing. They are friends of the Lilty, after all. He strolled through the dark vale, past the Chocobo Circuit and down into the Subterranean Ruins.There, what had been ruins before was now thriving and bustling. Their crystal shone radiantly. They were bickering about what this new fog was. He saw a Clavat running through the crowd. "Hm. A Clavat in a Yuke city? Talk about confused."

Flash felt like someone followed him. He walked to smaller street where wasn't so much people and man from distance, he wasn't from Yuke, he looked like clavat and Flash felt strange aura coming from him. "Who are you, you aren't from here, are you Clavat?" FLash asked and putted his hand inside his coat and grapped on knifes if he should fight, but then the clouds went even darker and it felt almost like storm. "What is this?"

"Hahah. Hold up. I'm not here for a fight." He said calmly. "So you won't be needing these." He said. Snow clenched his fist and his jacket rattled. He yanked his fist into the air, and the knives flew to his open hand. He grabbed him by the handles deftly. He dropped them, and they clattered on the marble tile that the Yukes called "ground". He lowered his hand. "As you can see, I'm a crystal bearer. I'm surprised that some are still around, really, since that Yukes had returned." He looked up at the sky, and heaved a sigh. "Why are you here anyway?"

"Whew, I thought you we're another of those guys who wants my head." Flash said and calmed down. "I'm recording history and best place to gather information is come here, I wanna reveal blank points of history. But you see, there is lot of people who dislike guys like me and escapecially when I'm clavat so it's hard to move around here. Come, I let's go to my home, if i can call that place one and then you can tell your story." Flash walked to downtown and then arrived in small and old building. Flash opened door and walked inside and made sure that there wasn't anyone else expect Snow around. "So what are you doing here?"

"Well, those Lilties demanded I help, since I'm a Crystal Bearer, immune to whatever that is up there." He said, pointing a finger to the sky. "Lilty soldier went out there and disintegrated, so now nobody wants to go out there. Soon they shoved me out there, and as it turned out, I was immune to it, considering that they saw me sleeping in the vale only minutes before it happened." Then a thought struck him. The Yukes had personalized the city to live in a way different than others. How, he wondered, could this guy find a place here. "So where exactly do you live?"

"I left from Altairia years ago, my only relative I knew was my grandfather, he was historician and one day I intrested in his job and decided to become one myself. I have already been in various places but now i kinda ended up here since we don't have almost any records of happenings in Yuke" Flash said and then took scroll. "Here's all information i have gathered about this place during my last 2 months." Flash took big chest. "I got this from my grandfather, it contains five different weapons, all over world, he said if I have preblems i should use them. Now when these events have started to happen and what i heared from you means that i should really take them" Flash opened chest and took everything from inside: Katana, spear, eight knifes, hammer and crossbow. "I really can't carry these all at same time, you sure you don't need weapon?"

"A weapon? Are you kidding me?" Snow broke out into laughter, wiping a metaphorical tear from his eye. "My weapon is my crystal." He said, showing Flash the palm of his hand. The blue crystal shone at Flash. "Trust me, If I needed a weapon, I wouldn't be here right now."

"Is that so, but remember: you aren't immortal although you are Crystal Bearer" Flash answered and got bit more relaxed feeling. "I think i just take this sword with me." Flash took katana with strange emblem on blade which was all white."Do you have any clue where we should start our search to solve this thing?" Flash asked and took his coat on and opened door. "We leave as soon as you want"

"So...you're coming with me?" Snow asked, a little shocked. "N-nevermind...Anyway you'll need some--" He looked at his Katana blade. "Nevermind again...don't ever drop that sword, or the miasma will kill you." He said. "And...I guess we'll start searching at the East Wildlands." Snow said as an answer to Flash's question.

"Well I figured that if you are going to save this world, it would be pretty important to wrote your history up, and this all has some connection what bothers me.." Flash said and left in outside. "To the east then" Flash took chest with him where he had his weapons and started to walk and gave Snow one scroll. "I think this would be important, it's pretty old but it has information about miasma and few other things if you're intrested. Anyway, we should proceed fast since people here really don't like clavat so don't make too much of hassle here."

Snow nodded, strolling through the streets of Shella. (I know, I should've mentioned before, but that's what the Yukes called their city. I was just playing through Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.) The Yukes ran around, worried about the thick miasma on their horizon. "For our search, we should go to Cave in the Cliff. The exit isn't far from Shella." Snow remarked as they continued walking. They soon reached the edge of Shella, and peered into the distance.There was a cave mouth gaping into the gorge. "Ah. There." Snow pointed out.

Flash walked inside the cave and watched around. Cave felt almost, like it was living. "What is with this cave, i haven't seen anything like this before.?) Flash heared strange foots steps from somewhere in cave. "Hey Snow we are not alone here so don't let your guard down." Flash took hold of his katana and then heard scream from cave. "What was that Snow, let's hurry!" Flash shouted and strated to run, deeper in to cave.
