Im getting a PS3, but I cant decide wether to get the phat or the slim and I heard the slim lost features and gained some. I cant find info on this so if someone has a link or something that would be cool.

From my knowledge of what I know it doesn't have from the phat one.

1. It doesn't have 4 usb ports only 2

2. it is smaller than the fat version

3. but the ps3 slim does have Less power consuming (up to 50% less), has a 120GB hard drive included, matter black cover.

Get the slim.

The Slim is less prone to get Yellow Lights of Death, it's not as loud, it's... er, slimmer, may run faster, however, it lacks backwards compatibility with PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 1 games, which, in my opinion, is its greatest folly.

 

Besides you can get a refurbished 60GB PS3 cheaper on GameStop than what the PS3 Slim costs currently, so...

Actually I found out it has a dual processor unlike the fat PS3. Also Im keeping my PS2 so Im not worried about backwards capibility.

ive had both and i say get the slim i didnt even no they still made the fatter vertion after all the problems with it like the orange light of death which is the reason i now have the slim vertion

I have both, and since you have a PS2 with workable controllers......get the slim.

Lol, call me shallow; but I thought the PS3 slim looked fugly, so I'm sticking with the shiner one I have. Be it, fingerprint prone.

Isn't it 160GB or 320GB?
