I will try and keep things breif but I will also not spoil anything.

Graphics: The graphics in FF 13-2 are amazing! It's exactly like FF 13. There isn't much of a difference, however at times there will be the occasional slow down when you're in a busy place such as a town.

Story: The story at times can be a little confusing, and depending on which way you go in the story, you may not end up with the ending that you wanted. However you can always go back and replay stages you have before to make new outcomes.

Sound: Much better than FF 13. FF 13 did have some great tracks but FF 13-2 takes the cake! You'll be singing along in every battle!

Gameplay: The battle system is updated and the battle bar goes a little faster. One of my favorites was the cinematic cutscenes during battle, however if you don't do what is asked during the cinematic, then the battle becomes even harder to beat. You also get the ability to have monsters join your team, it kind of felt like FF 10 when you upgraded your summons but rest assure the monsters are awesome! There are also a ton of side quests in this game! Every place feels more open and free, it's a major improvement to FF 13.

Lasting Appeal: Once you have beaten FF 13-2 there are still many side quests and story outcomes to find, the time puzzles are fun but the moggle can kind of get annoying after a while, just think of the moggle like Navi from the legend of Zelda. Other than that I give Final Fantasy 13-2 a 9/10!

And if you didn't enjoy the first one pick this one up, I was very surprised at how much the game changed. The reason I didn't give it a ten was because the story was a little confusing, and since there is no "real" outcome I wasn't very satisfied. But that shouldn't take away from the rest of the game, this game is great, but I wish they would have put a set story in place.

(This was the japanese version I played)
