In these new trailers we have seen some sort of a "game" where you seem to throw a dice and nove squares, as much as the dice shows (Just like Mario Parties).

Im thinking, is this just some minigame, or is this the way to proceed in the story mode? If it is, THIS SUCKS. I font want to move by a cube, and go to random battles just like that. I want to explore at least a little. I hope this is not the case.

I think it's a kind of minigame u are able to play when you finish a world or something like that, to have bonuses and improve your abilites.

But the entire game is not based on that system, don't worry :P It's kh-exploration, as always.

no,i i dont think so...bec,in the vids too,u can find urself walking and fighting, right???it cant be random stuff and mario party style...its an action game kh is the greatest..it is not a puzzle game.

Just wondering this, as in trailer we have clearly seen that tin one square is this Stitch, boss thingy (Can`t remeber the name)

+Dissidia was Square game too -_-

That's what I thought first, too, but I've changed my mind.

Nomura stated that this is only some kind of character leveling system, similar to the sphere grid in FFX.

He said when he had been a child he totally was into board games, that's why he did this.

Though I have only a little proof:

This video shows a free world map, doesn't it? So I think it's going to be like this and the PS2 titles respectively.

I mean, c'mon, even Days featured a (nearly) completely free world map.

Well you will have to level both character and ability. To level up your ability. You need CP (Can't remember what it stands for) It's like exp point. If you play the game you gather CP. And then you can use them for leveling your ability. You also get CP by defeating Unversed.

But Nomura said if you want quick CP game is a very fast way.

You don't need to play it if you don't want to of course

great...it looks cool

It's the skill system of the game(or something like that). I dunno when or how we get to play it, but when we do, we play and level up our skills and abilities to make them stronger.

Check the scans if you want info on things like this.

They're most likely just a minigame. Sure, you might have to play and clear them once within the game to continue with the story, but they'll probably just follow the ususal KH pattern and be those annoying little side mission you'll have to complete 100% in order to get to the secret video at the end...
