I know it’s only been 1 issue but it was ton of fun and seems like it could be one of best comics coming out monthly. The characters seem interesting and the story seems like plenty of fun with tons of great moments in the first issue alone.I love comics that mix fantasy with history and this comic does it really well.Everything clicked in this issue with the art and colouring being very well done. This could be part of something great and glad i'm on ground floor for it and it's already the best new comic of 2012 and i won't be surprised if it makes it on to my top 5 in couple months.

7) The Punisher

Posted Image

I’ve never read much of The Punisher but when i heard Greg Rucka would be writing him i had to check it out and i’m glad i did.He makes The Punisher a side character in his own series and makes him very interesting and a character i want to read about. The other characters are great and plot is fantastic so far and it also has Checchetto doing the art which is really good i mean really good it's almost breath taking. The Punisher barley talks in it and it with this new woman they introduced who is just like Punisher it's going to make for great things.

6) Swamp Thing

Posted Image

I never read Swamp Thing but with Scott Snyder writing it i thought i would give it chance. For me it started out little slow but when it picked it became easily one the best comics you can buy.The story is wonderful and i look forward to picking it up every month.Paquette art is great and one of best in the new 52 with his layouts being fantastic and his models being perfect for the comic.Snyder just keeps raising his game and makes for one exciting and weird read.

5) Batman

Posted Image

Scott Snyder wrote one of the best Batman stories in the Black Mirror and appears he going to write another masterpiece on Batman. The story is easily one of best cape comics you can buy and #5 is still my favourite comic of the year so far.He gets Bruce Wayne perfectly and actually makes me worry if he going to get out of this alive which is hard to do in a Superhero comics but he’s found way and with the art of the series being solid there’s no weak points in this series. This could be these best Bruce Wayne story ever written and Snyder is making Batman weak while making Gotham itself character in the series.

4) Animal Man

Posted Image

Like Swamp Thing i have not been following Animal Man that closely but knowing Lemire from Sweet Tooth i decided to check it out and i was blown away by how good the series was.The characters were well written and Foreman art fits the series so well. It’s mixes family and horror into a comic so well and it proves why married couples in comics can be interesting. The crossover with this and Swamp Thing could one of the best events of the year and i’m looking forward to that almost more than anything.

3) Wolverine and The X-men

Posted Image

This is 2nd most fun comic that i’m reading and it always puts smile on face.I’ve only read X-men for big thing like Morrison,Parker,Remender,Claremont and Whedon but after checking out Schism i decided to read this and Uncanny.I stop reading Uncanny but this comic is just great. It focus on lesser X-men but still puts the more well known ones in there and it divided them very well.It seems like Aaron is having tons of fun writing this series and it shows.Everything works brilliantly and i always looking forward to this series and craziness it might do.

2) American Vampire

Scott Snyder again is writing comic that i love and this one is probably my favourite he’s doing. The art is great with Albuquerque doing some of his best work now.The comic continues to be one of best you can buy and with it being now set 1950’s.It's now fast paced and extremely fun.The characters are some of my favourites in comics with how well they are written and presented. This comic just keeps getting better and better which is why i keep loving it more and more.

1) Daredevil

Posted Image

Daredevil is my favourite Superhero and i love alot of runs on the series with Bendis,Miller,Loeb and Brubaker being my favourites but the character kept getting beaten up more and more where he hit rock bottom and got horrible series. Then their came Mark Waid who decided to make Daredevil fun again and he has now made it the funniest comic you can buy.The writing and art are top-notch and are some of best in comics. The characters are better than ever and series is always amazing. This is why read comics for stories like these there so much fun but still stay true to the character and keep stacks high and interesting. This is at moment my favourite comic and don’t see anything beating it expect for Saga.

Two issue in and it’s already better than almost any other comic you can find on the stands.Brian K Vaughan has already invested me into most of the characters and has me interested into knowing more about everything he’s created. The pacing and writing are just incredible and displaying just how good of writer he is.Fiona Staples art is just as incredible with great facial reactions that add so much emotion to the character.Everything she draws feels so original and fits what BKV is writing. Her lettering and colouring are also top-notch.This world feels so live and i can’t wait to read more issues from this soon to be masterpiece.

With only 6 issue left in the series it's become one of my favourite comics ever written. The series keeps getting better and better with both fantastic writing and art that just blows me away every-time.After the cliff hanger in last issue the story takes so many twists and turns but was planed out in the beginning. The characters and horror both work so well.
