This story is based off of the Lorien Legacies Series.
Chapter One :
I slowly open my eyes. I can hear the radio on. I can feel the floor moving. Or is it the car? Anyhow, I yawn anyways. My old tears start to replace with new ones. Lately, I've been carrying a lot of stress on my shoulders. Leaving Sam behind. My very first best friend. I had to leave him to rot. Rot in the cave, alone. Another reason is because of her. Because of Sarah. She turned me in to the FBI. She betrayed me. I'm confused. I don't know what to do. I feel alone.
"Hey John, you feeling okay?" Nine asks suspiciously. Nine has been calling me my Earth name. Not Number Four. It makes me confused.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Just pay attention to the road" I yawn. Bernie Kosar wags his tail. I slightly feel the corner of my lips curl upwards. I open the window for BK.
"There you go buddy." I say. Bernie Kosar. He's the only person from Ohio I have left. I don't even have Number Six with me anymore. But I will see her. I need to make a promise to that. A small little airport comes into view.
Jackson County Airport
NEXT EXIT
"So we're going to Spain from here I'm guessing?" I ask.
"Yes, let's go. " Nine says with a grin on his face.
"Hey, Nine?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you have an Earth Name?"
"Yeah actually. It's Sean."
"Nice to meet you, Sean." I grin. We both grin, probably for the first time. Sean swerves the car to the exit, and drives slowly towards the airport. The building grows closer and closer. Finally, we reach the parking lot.
"So um, Sean. I don't think we're doing this right. We need to get Sam." I stammer. I don't mean to say it. It slips out of my mouth.
"Yes, but we have no choice" Sean tries to explain , " We'll rescue him soon. But Six needs our help."
"I hope you're right about that."
"Don't worry, I am." Sean says, as we get out of the car. Bernie Kosar hops off.
"Aw crap!" Sean yells. "I forgot our passports!"
"Geez Sean. I have a dozen of passports you know." I go back into the car and get some of the fake ids Henri made back in Paradise. I take out a ID for him and ID for me, a Passport for him, and a passport for me. He accepts them and stores them into his back pocket. "Bernie, I need you to turn into an ant. Can you do that?" Bernie Kosar nods his head. After ten seconds, BK climbs up and hides under my shirt sleeve.
"Let's do this" I say. Sean nods. We run through the doors. Luckily, Number Eight has already made a flight to Spain for us. I take out the receipt and everything else required.

After passing through the security checking, we head towards the gate. I'm not sure what I'm doing, and I don't like it, but then again, I have no choice. The lady at the desk calls our flight number.
"No luggage?" she asks suspiciously. We nod. The lady shrugs, but lets us in. We walk through the airplane, looking for two seats available. Luckily, we find two right near the front.
"Just in case..." I whisper. Sean nods. We sit down.
"Okay folks!" a voice says, from above, next to us, below us, and pretty much everywhere on the plane. "We are flying to Spain. The bathrooms are in the back, but please refrain from going there until we allow you to."
The man explains every safety limit on the plane. It's not like we need it anyways.Suddenly, I feel a vibration. The same vibration back on the spaceship. Before all of this happened. .Before Sarah betrayed me. Before I left Sam. Before Henri died. I close my eyes. I need some rest. It's been a long day.
