I have a feeling he is and my suspicion was confirmed by Nomura. As he just said that the mysterious figure is a character we know. He's not necessarily new. It's Terra! And I know why. In one part of the game, I think a trailer or picture says this. YMX says to Riku: I chose you from the very beginning. It makes sense now when you put the pieces together. Terra, who was trapped inside of Xehanort, and parts of him where in Xemnas. When he regained his body, he didn't take the form of his other self, he took the form of a younger Xehanort. Similar to Riku in KH2, who was "inside" of Ansem SoD, he regained his body, but later he took the form of Ansem. This is a weird theory I know, but it kinda makes sense. Everything he says sounds similar to Terra, well at least almost. If I find more, I'll see if I can better this theory.

 

EDIT: Parts of YMX are of Terra. That's what I should say. Not all of YMX!

Some of MF may be Terra, or Isa. I think Xehanort's resurection may have got screwed up because he had 3 hearts in him when he seperated, hence MF in the RoS.

but 1. he says はじめに選ばれたのはお前だ。what means "you are the one who was choosen from/at the beginning" and not "I choose you from the very beginning"

2. Therefore we donot know if he says it to riku. there is no riku in the picture and he is not mentioned in the sentence...

 

 

for the rest yeah as i said i think you are pretty close. moreover the setting is the releam of sleep .. maybe he donot even have to gain his body back etc ...

 

That distinguishes the difference between the MF and Terra

dont really see how it could be Isa why would he be in the Realm of Sleep and messing with Sora? Also Isa has blue hair.. MF has Silver. If this is YMX then that must mean Terra is free because YMX has his heart back??

Terra had brown hair before he was norted LOL.. So if MX did something to him it could change many factors on him .We dont know what and why he did certain stuff to Isa and Braig but it cant be ignored either. The pointed ears, yellow eyes , (isa's X scar), are indications of something.

I know he had brown hair lol I was talking about Isa and the MF. Thats why I thought it would be YMX and not Terranort but if that is YMX then where is terra is what I'm asking.

Well we dont know for sure but im guessing that defeating Ansem SoD and Xemnas would revive AX which is terra possessed..So AX should be back
