The Unknown's connection(s) to Riku

Hello, everyone :) In the Square Enix long trailer, towards the end, the Unknown is shown extending his hand to Sora, saying, "Let's go together." Then, in a scene which is a second long, the Unknown is shown as Riku-who is also extending his hand towards Sora.

 

What is the significance of these scene? Thanks :)

      I've heard a theory that the Unknown will alter Sora's memories of Riku and replace them with himself.

    So no japanese for me... except for the hi-res opening cinematic. But THAT'S IT. After that I'm patient.

     

    I agree :) I'm hoping to see the opening cinematic as well, or read a summary of it :) But, beyond that, I won't spoil myself too much.

    I've seen walkthroughs of all the other games and am finally playing them thanks to a friend who actually OWNS the consoles. I know what's going on but she's new to KH.

    When we get DDD, we'll both be going in blind.

    Yeah. Terra's my top fave, though.

    I can see why he's your top fave :) He's pretty cool :)

    And about the premiere event clips, I had those exact same thoughts! :) The videos were great, not only because of Kingdom Hearts' achievements, but because of the people's joy, too :)
