Hey, guys!

So I was wondering... Are there any photographers around here?

Because I've been wanting to get into it recently and I'm wondering if anyone has any god advice/tips.((([edit] << haha did I seriously just type god? Yeah, guys I need some GOD advice. lol jk *Good*))) I'm planning on using a few books my sister used back when she was in highschool. And I'm planning on getting a high quality camera around August.

So does anyone have any tips about photography in general?

ありがと !

have a good editing program and know how to use it

Use Manual or Portrait mode if you ever want some seriously good pictures. Auto is when you just want some casual photography.

Manual is doing everything by yourself of course

Portrait is like you want take pictures of a focused object while the background is blurred. Something like a Macro mode in Phone and Digital Cameras

Auto does everything for you. You just take pictures like a Digital Camera.

Learn ISO. To keep it simple. When you're in a dark place, use a higher ISO. When you are in a brighter place, use lower ISO.

Learn Shutter Speed. This one is simple. Its just that for a fast object like taking a airplane or a car, use a faster shutter speed. For an still object, use a slower shutter speed. There is a more meaning to it but I've forgot. Sorry. =/

White Balance. When you are under Direct Sunlight, use Daylight. When you're indoors, use Cloudy. When you want to take pictures of something under the shade, use Shade.

Use White Balance if you don't want to use any Photoshop or any picture editing Softwares. If you want to edit your pictures, just use Auto mode and take pictures like normal and edit it later in your computer.

There are more things, but that should be enough for now and you will learn more from experience.
