Ok so like most people a lot of things I want to buy are online primarily ebay, so before everything started to become stupid and annoying I could just get a prepaid card and buy it. Now that won't work anymore so I had to buy these stupid moneypak's to put money on paypal and what happens? I try to buy a wayfinder that someone on ebay makes so I got one and as I get ready to add the funds to paypal, i now have to put in my SSN for "verification." Well I did and it didn't work so I called and now I can't buy anything with my account until Im 18 (Im 16 currently). I just think its annoying that I can't buy something thats only $23 without going through all these hoops. Right now Im trying to ask my friend who's 18 to see if they can do this for me but does anyone else know a way to get around this?

I feel your pain. When I was underaged there wasn't even any options like prepaid cards I can get at the store to order something online. I would have to always ask my parents if I can use their card and pay them in cash. And that wouldn't always work if they said, "Oh, you don't need that" Maybe you could ask your parents if they'll let you open a checking account and have your own debit card. You need their permission while you're under 18, but debit cards are nice because it just deducts from your account. You can't buy anything with money you don't have. Good luck trying to get a wayfinder.
