The Shadows of Evil. (a pokemon RP)

 

In the year 2012 the entire world was taken over by darkness. Kanto and Johto were taken over by Team Rocket, the west of Hoenn by Team Magma and the East by Team Aqua, Sinnoh was over taken by Team Galactic, and Unova by Team Plasma. Soon after the take over the gym leaders were run into hiding, then the elites, followed by the champions, and lastly the masters, all sent into hiding. pokemon battling was outlawed but continued on the underground. harsh fights to the finish, all for money and entertainment. anyone caught pokemon battling was arrested. the Rules were no longer there, the synergistic unity between trainer and pokemon was extingushed and deprived of meaning. there wasnt a single person to stand up to the menace to society. there want a single person who decided they had enough. not one...said it had to end now!.

 

There is a time for everything. and the time to fight back... IS NOW!

 

Suddenly a lone trainer from the outskirt town of Anvil town in the Unova reigeon decided to do just that. with his pokemon he sent out to find the leaders, elites, and champions as well as others who would join him on his quest to vanquish the darkness for good.

Zander hesitated because it would be hypocritical of him to do that even though he quit. "Alright I can do that. I'm sure Charizard could help us out with the demolition" Zander said with a smile holding up his Charizard Pokeball. Zander looked around. "So where is the nearest one?" Zander asked knowing very well where the closest one was

Maxwell's eyes widened with interest, "Looking to start a rebellion huh? Well don't worry, your secret's safe with me," Maxwell smiled friendly, the guy just might be worth helping out, "You know, I just might be able to help you with this little upstart of yours," He reached to his belt and revealed 3 poke balls, a Net Ball, a Premier Ball, and a Luxury Ball, "I'm really quite the trainer, anyway I don't know where the underground battles are, but I saw a couple trainers on my way here, we should see if they're willing to help," Maxwell lead the way out, "By the way, I never caught your name,"

I let Servine out for our walk through the woods. I could maybe get a battle in private somewere. "Come on you guys!" I said with pride. Emolga, Tranquill and Servine were there in an instant. "Now, how about some battleing?" I asked. They all three jumped up and down and such. "Ok let me see..." I giggled. Servine is weak against Tranquill and Emolga Is a disadvantage against Tranquill. I thought fast. "Okay Servine, you are fighting Emolga and Tranquill your also fighting Emolga. But I'll let you guy's rest after each battle. And remember to be nice! Oh, and quiet." I announced. Okay lets start off with, Servine use vine whip and Emolga, spark! I yelled. When they charged at each other a whole bunch of pokemon flew out of the trees and Deerling and other forest pokemon ran. "Guy's stop and come back in." I demanded. But I let Emolga stay out. She will be the only one who can still get on my sholder. I picked my backpack up and strolled out of the forest. Emolga asked what happend. "I think it was team plasma." I said heading back to a pokemon center.

Josh, Jade, and Justin stopped by a local pokemon center. "Okay according to this map, we are here in Nimbasa City, we want to get to Opelucid City. To do that we could take two ways east or west. The east would be crawling with more Team Plasma leaders since that is where the gyms used to be, however the west would be covered in the unknown." Justin said. Jade put her hands on her hips, "So what you are saying is we are completely screwed?" Josh looked at the map, "Well not quite, we are at a fifty-fifty, and we could easliy go to the west if it wasnt for the fact that there have been rumors that there used to be powerful pokemon living there until Plasma took over. Now I suggest we try and go through the east since it would be easier to take down those members than the east, plus there is an airport in Mistralton City." Josh said. "Okay so east it is than, lets get going." Justin said. They got out of the Pokemon Center and walked passed a subway station. "Justin, what is that?" Josh asked. "Its the old sub station. I used to come here on vaction and ride for fun. It was my dream to someday become a subway master like my idols, but since Plasma took over, I cant do that." Justin said.

He looked at him and smiled "The names damon. and im a pretty good trainer back in Anvill town, one of the few safe places for trainers. but thats all about to change." he told him.

 

suddenly some plasma members come running off a train towards Damon. "Hey You get back here! you are under arrest for assulting a plasma!" one yelled

 

Damon looked at the group. "when you say it like that it sounds worse that what i acctually did!" he said as he grabbed Maxwells hand and ran. "im not gonna hold your hand the whole way i just think we should get going! we should meet up here later about 5:30 kay!" said Damon to Maxwell as he let go and ran off to hide in the city. He just ran out of the Station when he ran into a boy (justin). "AH! shit!" he yelled as he got up and threw a dusk ball. out came a Speeding Whirlipede as it rolled straight at Justin, Josh, and Jade it tore up the cement under it. chunks of rock lay sprawled across the ground as it rolled at them.

"What the heck is wrong with you?" Justin asked as he sent out Hypno. "Okay Pam, use Hypnosis on Whitlipede and cause it to fall asleep so it can calm down." Justin said. The pokemon then performed the move hoping that it would fall asleep. Jade had held onto Josh and neither of them had noticed what they were doing because they were in shock mode.

"Oh Shit your not part of team plasma!" exclaimed Damon as Whirlipede had taken and amazingly sharp almost on the dot turn out of the straight path and came back to Damon. "Im very sorry but i have to go!" he said as he ran past them. suddenly A group of Plazma members came out of the Train station after Damon.

 

"Get back here kid!" yelled the same guy as they chased him...

 

Damon looked at his watch. "2:45 this will be an interesting day" he said as he ran into an allyway and turned around with a jump as he threw a pokeball and out came a massive pokemon.

 

"TTOOORR! TERRA!" the Grass type pokemon roared as the Plazma members turned the corner and saw Torterra.

 

One of the members of the group immediatly grabbed a pokeball from his belt and threw it. "GO! Swoobat!" he yelled as the pokemon came out. then the others followed and Damon Found himself up against a wall.

 

"Swoobat: a psychic and flying pokemon. it has excellent hearing, three Drillbur: the pre evolved form of Excadrill. Ground type. Know for burrowing under the ground." he said as he looked at the Leader. "Shit! Krookerook: Dark and Ground, its massive jaws make destroying a School bus Childs play. " he told himself as he looked at Torterra. Then he ran up and jumped onto Torterra's back.

 

"Your under arrest kid! now give up! there is now where you can run!" said the officer as he glared at him.

 

Damon looked at him for a while and then smiled "The names not Kid! My name is Damon Higura, Age 19. As for occupation, lets just say that im going to be the one to start the motion to kick your Team Plazma asses into the next millenia!" he said to them as he held onto Torterra and pointed at the group. "TORTERRA GO! USE FRENZY PLANT!" yelled Damon as the pokemon glowed Green and suddenly the ground around it rumbled and then massive roots came out of the ground the roots had thorns on them and began to ensnare are inflict massive damage to the plazma's as well as block their visual of Damon! when they got out Damon was gone.

Damon was standing atop the tallest building in the City and had a phone out. He smiled as he had just completed one of the most valuable tools to the resistance. A website. he sent it and the password out to people he was sure would use it. he then got on and looked at it. he then entered his password and username.

 

(this is the way the resistance can communicate now the website is a chatroom and its able to set up for the reigeon. there are multiple rooms so it can be less crowded. there is a specific way i want that typed though.)

then he typed. and watched the words show up on the screen for all who are soon to join to see

*Rebellion: Welcome to the beggining of the world's greatest triumph yet. The Dawn of the Rebellion.

he waited then suddenly the number of members on the bottom of the screen went from 1 to 2.

*Magma has entered the Chatroom.

 

Damon watched the number rise 5, 8, 17, 34, 78, 200, 790, 1000, 5203, 9230. The numbers began to slow but Damon smiled as he heard the many rings of phones go off in the city, petals of cherry blossoms flying through the air as if caused by the phones, the number and people entering and chatting that synchronized with it. after watching the words on the screen asking questions he replies

 

*Rebellion: Hold your questions! this is the Rebellion's communication site. This is where you can find out, if not already fighting back, Where the Fight is and if its coming your way and the First one up, is Nimbasa City in the Unova Reigon! Nimbasa City! So I want to see some pissed off plazma members be fighting a war they cant win! Good luck and remember Im already there!

Damon then put the phone in his pocket and walked off, staying hidden as he made his way to join in the mayhem

 

(the messages were sent to all of you as well. and all the reigeons are able to use it but we are staying in unova for this one.)

Jewel looked at him and blushed "uhhh eh hehehe well thats the problem. the plan would work if i could remember but I ran off without checking. so i was gonna have to find one." she said as she looked at him. then suddenly her phone went off she looked at it and read the message. then she smiled "how convenient. my friend sent me this and said someone sent it to her as if it had been ergent" said as she logged in. and read a message. "Nimbasa City!" she exclaimed startled.

Maxwell had gotten away without notice, but he worried about Damon, he looked at his watch, it was almost 5:30, he should get back to Gear Station. He grabbed his team in their poke balls and left the Poke Center. Maxwell had gotten the message on his phone about Nimbasa City being the first site of liberation. It was a safe bet that Damon put this up,"I wonder his many people are gonna show up," He said to himself quietly.He took a glance at his watch and decided he had time for a detour. He went to look at the old Pokemon Gym, its former Gym Leader, Elesa, was an electric Pokemon specialist. As Maxwell made his way to Gear Station, he pondered on the possibility of Elesa seeing the message Damon sent.

(wow,you must have been bored to type that much)

 

I walked into the pokemon center and sat down. The nurse there knew me for going there. "Miss.Lea, are you just here to hang-out?" she asked. "I can leave if you want." I explained. "Your fine! It is about to storm is all." she grinned. "I'll just stay here then." I admitted. A little while later, some grunts from Team Plasma came in. I stood up with my poke'-balls and walked on back. "Servine, come on!" I yelled. "Ser....Vine!" he responded. I walked out but unluckily a grunt saw me. " What do you think you're doing?" he yelled. I then ran out the door. Servine right behind me. "Servine, come back!" I returned him. "Tranquill, let's go!" I let him out and held his leg. "Fly to Nimbrasa city, pronto!" I commanded. And before I knew it we were there. We passed the rain. And I walked to a friend of my moms House. "Hey Lea! Long time no see! " she said. Her name was Elise Thomas. "Is that okay if I stayed here? " I asked. "Oh, of course! You are on an adventure! Why would I reject?" I walked up to what use to be her son's room. He was out in the Johto region. I sat down on the floppy bed and let everyone out. I would have to be extremely careful because If one from team plasma saw my Poke'mon then I knew that I would be in big trouble. In a lot of trouble to be exact. My phone rang, a text. How did that happen? I wondered as I pressed the Ignore spot. It kept popping up. I know this was just going to keep happening so I put it up. I would read it later

When things settled down with Damon, Justin sent back his pokemon. "I dont remember this region being like this at all." Justin said. He then looked over at Josh and Jade. "Not shock mode again." Justin then clapped his hands hard and Josh and Jade snapped out of it. "Wow." "Akward moment." They then let go of each other.

 

When the time hit 4:32, the gang was small cafe. "So, you think that we can really do this?" Jade asked as she was drinking coffee. The gang all had coffee and was at a small table. "Well keep thinking like that and nothing good will happen." Justin said. Josh was checking the group laptop. "Um guys, you may want to see this." Josh said. They then huddled around the screen that showed the rebel website. "Okay, what is this, and what are their goals?" Jade asked. "Looks to me like some kinda rebellion against Team Palsma, and maybe others. Should we sign up?" Josh asked. "I'm fine with that, we are a group of rebels right." Justin said. Josh then set the group up an account with the name of KANTO CHAMPS. "Okay, so who is up for a train ride to Anville Town, the home of a certain member of Team KANTO CHAMPS?" Justin asked. "We're in." Josh and Jade said at the same time. They then headed towards the station.

The clocks across Unova hit 5:30 and at Gear Station history was about to be made. Damon had been keeping to the roof tops to avoid team Plasma. He arrived at gear station and jumped down just as Maxwell had arrived. "Hello again!" he said to Maxwell as he held up his phone and the website was up. "now that Allies are able to communicate its time to begin. wouldnt you think so, Maxwell?" said Damon. "im hoping the leaders, elites and champions will join us in the fight to take back their gyms." he told him

"I was just thinking about the Gym leaders on my way here," Maxwell said, "So is there gonna be some sort of plan to this rebellion? Or are we just gonna let all hell loose here until Team Plasma leaves?" he asked. Maxwell looked at his phone, there were a lot of people on the website, he was still thinking about the Gym Leaders. How many, if any at all, would see this? Getting the support of them would definitely help, even more so if someone from the Elite Four were to see this.

Justin, Josh, and Jade had arrived at the Gear Station. "Okay, so you really didnt live that far from this wonderful, well once wonderful, city?" Josh asked. "Yes, I didnt really live that far, just one train ride away. My father came to Nimbasa sometimes when we would really need something not in our town." Justin said. Jade then spotted someone, "Hey Justin, isnt that the guy from before?" she said pointing to Damon. "That guy who tried to attack us for no reason, I got some unfinished buisness to take care of with him." Justin then started walking towards Damon. "There is goes again, I guess we better follow." Jade said. "Like we have a choice." Josh said. They then followed behind Justin. "Hey you! I have some buisness to take care of with you for trying to run over me and my friends!" Justin yelled at Damon.

Damon smiled as he could tell Maxwell understood. "out of all those people you would never know their identities. only that they are listening and just dying to help fight for the cause. but it have a good feeling that the leaders, elites, and champions are all watching right now. just waiting to make their move and take their homes back!" he explained then he heard the 2 words that made him get on guard... Hey You. "Shit!" Damon said as he threw a pokeball but this time Dwebble came out and prepared to fight unlike whirlipede who just attacks. he then turned to see Justin. "Oh sorry its you again. and again im very sorry for what happened last time." he said as he looked at them "a trio, Hypno user" he said as he first took note of the group and then pointed at justin. "Hypno arent from around here so taking it from my guess. You three just signed up on my website of the rebellion" said Damon as he had a knack for remembering Details and guessing correctly.

"Yeah, we just signed up. We are known as team KANTO CHAMPS, and we are from the Kanto region expect Justin who is from here in Unova." Josh said. "Hey, dont tell them that. I am still upset with the guy here. Now you have made yourself a frienemy mister?" Justin asked Damon. Justin had one of those ways that he would not let anything go once it has begun. 'Great, so here we are about to have Justin fight this dude, and we are supposed to be on the same team with him. What is life coming to these days?' Jade thought in her mind.

Damon looked at Justin and shook his head. "I decline to fight an ally when Its about to begin." he said as he took out his phone and smiled as he typed something into the phone and entered in. suddenly all over the Unova Reigeon it was official

 

*Rebellion: Rebels of Nimbasa City! It is time! It is time to fight back! Now everyone who is a rebellion member! call out you pokemon all of them weather it be one, two, five, or six! make yourselves seen and strike! take down the Team plasma! and show them no mercy! also i hope Eleza, Gym leader of Nimbasa City! I hope you are here! I hope you are watching! I HOPE YOU FIGHT BACK TO TAKE BACK YOUR CITY!

 

Damon smiled as a few seconds after he sent the message almost hundreads of everyday people. Buissnessmen and women, school children, bakers, docters, salesmen and women, as well as some other people all stopped what they were doing and threw out their pokemon. suddenly almost instantly the Plazma members were fighting back. Damon laughed but soon stopped as the Krookerook from before came around the corner with its trainer. "SO YOUR THE ONE WHO CAUSED THIS!" he said

 

"and your the one who is in charge of controlling Nimbasa city!" replied Damon as he looked to Maxwell. "we take this guy down then we are for sure gonna take back the city! but i need you to go help sweep the area clear of non trainers can you do that for me?" he asks Maxwell and then turned to Justin, Jade, and Josh "you too? i want no civillians hurt or killed."

Maxwell nodded to Damon and tossed his Premier Ball, sending out his Mawile, "-Wile!" it called out, ready to help. "Let's go Mawile!" Maxwell said to his partner, giving towards the city,"Maw!" she said as she followed. Outside Gear Station, Maxwell stood in the middle of a panicked crowd and yelled, "EVERYONE WHO'S A NON-TRAINER! FOLLOW ME, WE DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU HURT! ANYONE WILLING TO HELP GET THEM OUT OF THE CITY PLEASE DO!" various people began to converge upon his position, waiting to follow. Maxwell decided to lead them to the Driftveil Drawbridge, that way, once everyone was safe there, he could lift the bridge so that any Team Plasma members from Driftveil couldn't come over and make things harder.

 

Maxwell had just lead the civilians past Big Stadium when a blockade of Plasma Grunts stopped them, "Outta the way!" Maxwell shouted, "Mawile, Flash Cannon!" Mawile went to the front, the set if jaws on her head began to glow a metallic silver, with a gray orb of energy inside of them, "Mawwww-" she said as the attack charged, "Wi-le!" she yelled as the silver beam shot forward to the Plasma Grunts, making a huge explosion.

 

Maxwell thought things were going well until, "Krookodile! Use Bulldoze!" The ground beneath Mawile's feet burst from under her, "Wile!" she cried. Another Plasma Grunt had come along, and decided to target him.

I read the text and ran outside. People were out there and I let out Servine. I was confused as I ran up to one boy. (Damon) "Excuse me, but what is this flash mob having to do with. Why fight?" I asked him. I held onto Servine's little leaf hand and welcomed him for a ride on my back. My backpack and Servine was at least 20 pounds on me.

Damon looked at the girl. as he and torterra dodged an iron tail from Krookerook. "WHAT DO YOU THINK THESE GUYS ARE JUST GONNA GIVE BACK NIMBASA CITY IF WE ASK NICELY!" he yelled as he got atop of Torterra and threw 2 pokeballs. Dwebble and Whirlipede came out and used X-scissor and Rollout on the Krookerook. then followed by a massive solarbeam from Torterra.

I slumped and sent out everyone. "Servine,leafblade. Tranquill, Air cutter, and Emolga, spark! Lets fight." I remarked. Servine weaved out the grass blade on the Krookerook hoping it would serve as a K.O with the giving of the solar beam. Tranquill sent a blow to a Cottonee that team plasma had. Emolga sent her spark to a Panpour that boy was right. Servine used Leaf tornado on a Swoobat. But before

I knew it, most of the work was being done by other trainers.

Damon looked at the Admin, gathering data. "2 pokeballs one being krookerooks. he wouldnt use his best so soon and if it takes 3 of my pokemon to defeat this krookerook i may be in trouble." said Damon. "Better finish this!" he looked at the other trainers as they sent the Plasmas running. this battle was about to become a lot bigger. Suddenly Damon took off with his pokemon following him as well as the Admin and his Krookerook from behind. Damon stopped and smiled at the location he moved the battle to, outside the Nimbasa city gym. "Now then! GO Whirlipede! Use bulldoze!" he yelled as Whirlipede slammed into krookerook and watched it fall, defeated.

 

"Krookerook Return!" said the admin as a red beam recalled the pokemon. he then grabbed the other pokeball and threw it. "Rampage! Haxorus!" yelled the man as the massive pokemon came out and immediatly fired an attack that hit dwebble and knocked it out.

 

"AH! Dwebble!" exclaimed Damon as he quickly jumped and caught dwebble in his arms as he too was shot into a wall. he got up and recalled the hermit crab. then he looked at what he had. "Haxorus is a dragon pokemon so im screwed." he said as he looked at the pokemon. "but im not gonna back down!" he said. suddenly damon pointed at haxorus. "GO! Torterra use Frenzy Plant!"

 

"TOOOORRRR! Terra!" roared the pokemon as it was engulfed by a green light and massive spiked roots came out of the earth and attacked Haxorus.

"Wile!" Mawile cried as it was battered about by the large Ground type pokemon, Mawile's at a huge disadvantage against that thing, Maxwell thought, "Mawile! Return!" he yelled as he called back his pokemon, "Vespiquen! Attack Order, now!" Maxwell shouted, throwing the Luxury Ball into the air, sending out the large queen bee. The underlings beneath Vespiquen's dress flew out and pummeled the Krookodile, which feel to the ground.

 

Everyone was at the bridge, before Maxwell could go back to the city, he needed to get that drawbridge up. He ran to the bridgecontrols to tell the person operating them to lift the bridge. He rushed through the crowd of people to the bridge, but stopped when he saw what was there, hundreds upon hundreds of Plasma Grunts were marching across the bridge. "I have to tell Damon," he said gravely. He turned to run back to the city, "Stop them! Stop them now!" he yelled at random trainers

I looked at the trainers then the Haxous. Emolga is worth less against that. So is Servine. And Tranquill is not really good at ground types. "Servine, let's help the trainers. Use grass knot." I almost whispered to him. "Emolga let's use Thunder shock and Tranquill what about a gust to blow the grunts backward." I winked. Servine tripped a couple of grunts. Emolga shocked a couple and Tranquill blew grunts backward.

Torterra went flying across the area and onto the ground, defeated. "Grr Return Torterra!" said Damon as he looked at Whirlipede. "I guess its just you and me. you up for it buddy?"

 

"Whirrrr!" replied the bug,

 

"Then lets get started!" he said as he turned to face Haxorus. "GO! WHIRLIPEDE! USE ROLLOUT!"
