The Shadows of Evil. (a pokemon RP)

 

In the year 2012 the entire world was taken over by darkness. Kanto and Johto were taken over by Team Rocket, the west of Hoenn by Team Magma and the East by Team Aqua, Sinnoh was over taken by Team Galactic, and Unova by Team Plasma. Soon after the take over the gym leaders were run into hiding, then the elites, followed by the champions, and lastly the masters, all sent into hiding. pokemon battling was outlawed but continued on the underground. harsh fights to the finish, all for money and entertainment. anyone caught pokemon battling was arrested. the Rules were no longer there, the synergistic unity between trainer and pokemon was extingushed and deprived of meaning. there wasnt a single person to stand up to the menace to society. there want a single person who decided they had enough. not one...said it had to end now!.

 

There is a time for everything. and the time to fight back... IS NOW!

 

Suddenly a lone trainer from the outskirt town of Anvil town in the Unova reigeon decided to do just that. with his pokemon he sent out to find the leaders, elites, and champions as well as others who would join him on his quest to vanquish the darkness for good.

"No, its too soon. Now if only I could read this map, then we could..." "Josh, you have the map upside down." Jade said. "Oh, you're right. Okay according to this map there is some place called Game Freak. I say we should start there, they might be able to help us in someway." Josh said.

"Game Freak huh? Let me see that map...okay, lets go," Maxwell said, "I think we go this way,". Did a large company like that have any Trainers there? He'd just have to go and see, "So you guys are from Kanto right?" Maxwell asked the two of them, trying to make conversation.

"Yeah, and not only are we from Kanto, but we are from Pallet. Pallet is where we helped out Professor Oak whenever he needed it, which I stopped by everyday because my dream is to become the best Professor, even better than him." Josh said. "But you are too hothead too even do that. You cant even tell that the map was upside down." Jade said.

Maxwell laughed, "I'm from Veilstone City in the Sinnoh region myself. I've been around, Johto, Hoenn, even Kanto," Maxwell said, "You already know that I'm not exactly a leader, but my dream since I was a kid was to be a great Gym Leader," Maxwell chuckled again, the irony of it all said always funny to him, "Whay about you Jade? It was Jade right? What did you want to be?"

"Yes, my name is Jade. I guess I havent really thought about it. Ever since I can remember, all I ever did was follow Josh here in whatever he was doing. My life has never really been normal, so somehow I manage to live in the moment. However, there is one dream that I have for the future, and that would be to live in a pleasant place for everyone where there is freedom, and I would have a nice family." Jade said looking over at Josh, who was looking elsewhere like always.

Maxwell lead the way, turning on Castelia Street, where the Game Freak building was supposed to be. The three of them walked into the building, Maxwell looked around, "Okay, so what now?" he asked, "Should we look for some trainers if there are any?"

 

Maxwell was really at a loss. He had no clue what his next move was, he was beginning to worry that putting him in charge was a grave mistake.

"Well, for my younger childhood before I hanged out with Oak everyday, I used to be obsessed with this video game called, "Pokemon: CATCH EM' " and the makers of the game are these people. So I learned more about the company during that time, and found out that the leader of this group is a mastermind in the world of Pokemon. I say we try and find him, his name is Junichi Masuda, and see if he has any idea that would help us take down Palsma, and save the town." Josh said. "So you mean basically, we need to find this leader, ask him for help, and see where that takes us? Why is it you are always a pain when it comes to plans?" Jade asked and wrote down a heart with her name and Josh's on her notebook and then drew a heart around them.

"I'm not sure, would this guy even see us? he sounds pretty important, a bit too important to see a couple of kids," Maxwell said. His eyes shifted around, and noticed something on the wall, "Uh-oh," he said walking over to it, it was a poster, Team Plasma's insignia clearly seen on the corner, "Does he look familiar?" Maxwell said, showing the poster to Josh and Jade

Damon looked at Justin with a grin. "The Leaders, champions, and masters havent vanished into thin air. they just went into hiding. they hide among us. sometimes as teachers, busness men and women, construction workers, gardeners, they arent gone just hiding among us. waiting for the moment they can come out of hiding." he told Justin as he found a dead end. he grabbed Justin's arm and jumped into the ground which fell as he took Justin down in with him. when they landed on a bed of sand they were in a large room with a door into the labrinth of the temple were volcarona lie hidden. "sorry bout that but we're here." he told justin as he stood up.

Justin got up and dusted himself off. "Why is it that I am stuck with the one person who is a maniache? If it werent for me wanting to see my home region, then I would rather read the whole PokeGames books then be with you. Now behind that door is your bug pokemon right?" Justin asked.

 

Josh and Jade looked at the poster and back at each other. "No, we dont." Josh said. "Not many things are known about Palsma in Kanto, so I guess we wouldnt know too much about Unova." Jade said.

"no not exactly behind that door is the real temple. its almost a giant labrinth. its just the outer shell of the real thing." damon told him as he threw out Dwebble and walked forward into the maze.

"Really? Who designed this crazy thing?" Justin asked as he walked behind Damon.

(Well, how was I supposed to know. You might want to make this a bit more clear.)

"I can't believe they have wanted posters already, and it looks like there's one for each of us," there were more of the posters on the wall, each with three same symbol in the corner, "That's Team Plasma's insignia there by the way, not sure if you're familiar with it. I guess we're going need to be more careful before we start this thing

Damon looked at him. "I dont know but at the Center of it is Volcarona, and im not gonnna waste the time to get there so lets GO!" he told him as he ran into the maze with dwebble next to him.

"I could have told you about being careful. But are we really starting to be wanted?" Jade asked. Josh put his hand on her shoulder, "Its okay. We have to be wanted for this to work, but trust me we are not going anywhere, except for the old building that used to be the gym." Josh said as he rushed to the door. "Are you guys coming or what?!?!?" Josh asked waving his hands up and down.

 

"Well, I dont really think a maze was the best idea." Justin said and sent out Oshawott. "Drew come along." Justin said and the Oshawott walked next to him.

"Dwebble use rock smash" said Damon as the pokemon shattered a large stone. Damon then took out a large spool of string and placed it in the broken rock "ok dwebble now you know what to do"

 

"dweb!" said the hermit crab as it spit a substance at the pieces of stone as damon placed the pieces back like a puzzel. Soon the stone was mended perfectly.

 

Damon tugged and the string was mended into it. "let's go" he said as he walked off into the maze unwinding the spool as he went.

Age: 16

Bio: Kora was born in Olivine City. She grew up here and frequently visited her grandmother in Azalea Town. During one visit, her grandmother introduced her to an oddish. While Kora was playing in Ilex forest, team Rocket arrived in Azalea and arrested Kora's grandmother for speaking out against them. When Kora returned, she couldn't find her grandmother, only her jewelry box was left behind. Inside it, was a single sun stone. When Kora returned to Olivine with oddish, she found that her older brother was missing as well. Kora searched and searched for her family, her quest bringing her all the way to Hoenn until she finally heard that her brother may have been moved to the distant Unova Region. Kora set off to Unova only to spark the anger of team Plasma who had failed to take her beloved pokemon. Kora eventually settled down in Castelia City hoping to gather information about her brother. Five years have passed and Kora is no closer to finding her brother, but now rumors have popped up abouut a band of rebels who are challenging the darkness that took her family away.

Justin followed along. "Man, do we get stuck with the tricky jobs. Why is it we always find that one guy who is always a pain in the........." Oshawott inturpted him. "Osha!" it said. "Okay, okay." Justin said and followed behind Damon faster.

"At this rate we will be at the center in about a day!" said Damon. "return dwebble!" he said as he recalled dwebble. "go scoliopede!" he yelled as the massive insect came out.

"A day?!? Now I wished that I had gotten something to drink before we left." Justin said.

As Kora followed her daily route searching for answers, she overheard rumors that the resistance had come to Castelia. This was her chance. Her chance to find them. She had seen the wanted posters of their faces. How could she not? One thing was certain, Kora had to find them before she missed her opportunity. Wait! Were those people going into the gym? No one ever went in there. "This must be it!" Kora whispered under her breath.

Damon got onto scoliopede and then pulled Justin and oshawott up too. "LETS GO!" he yelled. suddenly the scolipede took off running at amazing speed. "well be there in no time if we ride scolipede" he said to Justin as they turned corner after corner and went through the maze like it was nothing. "U see scolipede here is fast and with that said we will be in the center in no time.
