Below is an image during Ventus' possible last moments (theory).

 

However, if you look closely, someone is sitting next to Ven on the tree trunk, at first I got too excited, I thought it was Vanitas without his helmet, however, through PhotoShop enhancement it's clear that this person is the one and only King Mickey.

 

 

So I brightened the image a little more, and circled what I see, hope this clears some things up!

Also, as malicious_shadow said, Mickey is the only character that would blend into the night so well, and that peachy skin color, it must be Mickey

 

 

I think you're right DoctorRamen, but there's one thing that troubles me and thats the skin coloured arm/object next to mickey...it can't possibly be mickey's?

Also, I find it amusing in the contrast between this frame and the end of the trailer, Ventus lying on this tree trunk at night, and Sora sitting there at the end of the trailer at sunset? Is that significant at all?

 

EDIT: I looked back in the BBS forum and noticed someone discovered a shadow leaning against the tree, Vanitas perhaps?

I noticed that too! But since it wasn't in very good quality it looked like someone keyblade. But...I'm having a hard time seeing King Mickey.o.O; Knowing when this takes places makes a HUGE diffrence. @_@;

I don't think it's a baby Ven sitting there, to me it's kind-of obvious that this is at the end of the game. Think of it, Ven was "frozen" by Xehanort and in the trailer at this particular part Ven appears to be in a very dull dormant state, I don't think it's Ven as a baby.

Considering the size of the person, I can only think of mickey. You can't see feet below the tree. Only a few people are that size that we know of and only Mickey and Minnie can blend in so well with the background color like that and I don't think Minnie would be there.

 

 

Plus, the so called "baby Ven" looks like he's 15!! Nothing about his facial features point out his reversal in age.

Sorry for constantly saying "baby Ven", it just really looks like him...cause it can be Sora *hair style/color is way different* and there's no way that can be Roxas. @_@; And that "keyblade" could've ended up on that Paopu trunk the same way the baby was; someone was around to leave them there. But that's just one "maybe" thing. We'll know in 9 days.

It can't be Sora since we know that he exists at that stage. The trailer shows Sora watching the falling meteors. And past trailers have shown Sora and Riku together, implying that Sora is a completely different entity from Ventus. So far, NO CONNECTION has been made between Sora and Ven except for the fact that Ven and Roxas look like each other.

But look at the body structer, even if his facial features don't look like an infants, what kind of 15 year old teenager would fit the width of the trunk of that Paopu tree? There are non dangling legs that can be seen. So that's either a really short teenager; or that really is an infant. >.>;

The body is laid sideways on the trunk, not necessarily so that is hangs down off the tree. If you consider that, the optical illusion of it makes it look shorter when in reality, it's longer. Plus, all things considered, Ven CAN be considered short/petit. Hes not tall nor broad like Terra is.

Actually, it looks as though Ven is some sort of... shell.

No signs of movement is shown and his eyes look dull and lifeless till the light passes in front of him.

Hmm, maybe after his "death" someone or some sort of force brings him to the Room of Awakening as seen at the beginning of the trailer, a lifeless Ven sitting in a throne. Maybe the transferrers goal was to bring Ven back to life via memory transfer? To Sora?

In the end, it just comes down to what sort of connection Ven has to Sora.

The transferrer as well, the connection between Ven to him as well is curious.

Vanitas seems to have a hand in this as well.....

I don't think it's Sora. Try look at the time diffrents. Ven is about 14-15 and Sora is 4-5. Now if Ven was a baby at that time. Sora wasn't even born yet. You see.

Many are posting of "Baby Ven", i'm not going to disagree, but including an infant character in Kingdom Hearts is ridiculous for two reasons, one it's kind-of bizarre (haha), and two think of the timing, and the proof I provided above, I strongly believe that this scene is at the end of the game summing up the connections between Sora > Ventus > Vanitas

It doesn't really look like Mickey to me. I thought it was Ven raising his hand before you brightened it. It looks like a bald person to me, but the person near the tree(in the same scene) looks more like MX.

ok wait remember nomura said about the secret movie something about it being the story of the next game well what if that and the last scene with sora sitting alone it was like the next day because in KH3 sora finds ven and he is really weak and dies haha i know thats real out there
