I'm writing a letter to colleges that I'm denying acceptance to. I was going to base my letter off the college rejection letter I received. I couldn't remember what Harvard said, so I Googled it. I found this interesting article.
Reading it, some of these colleges are mean! I'm lucky that I've only received the letter from Harvard; the nice one!
But take a look at the comments section of the article. Go ahead.
What? These people are so cruel. I understand that our generation is slightly more spoiled than theirs, but have a heart! These kids aren't crying because life isn't being handed to them on a silver platter; they're upset because they had a dream an couldn't reach it. These people telling them to grow up are being completely horrible to these hard working students. I'll admit, when my dream school rejected me, I teared up. Not because I didn't get in, but because I had devoted hours and days to the application (not counting my stellar grades) and had been dreaming of attending Harvard and it wouldn't come true. These commentors make me so mad...
