This Story is an edited version of our Role Play following a full Story-line format.

Editing the story takes quite some time.

Warning: The RP is sort of a Rough Draft, so you won't get the full story feel with it.

So if you want to spoil yourself, the Role Play Link is here: http://kh13.com/foru...fruit-rp-story/

I'll post Chapter 0 under this. Hope you like it! :]

Something I was pointed out to, Apparently Chapter 0 has Teen Content. Don't read it, if you're opposed to Rated T. o-o

World One: Kingdom of the Sky

(Started out as the premise of the story, but I thought it was needed so I made it into a chapter. A Small Backstory)
Prologue/Chapter 0: 16th Birthday

Hoshi's Room

One always thinks patience is a virtue, but one can only wait for so long.  Results are what really matter and if you cannot achieve those results, then being patient has no benefits...that was Hoshi's mindset.

"I have a month and two weeks."

She was young.  15 years, no more no less.  But to her kingdom, she was arriving at that ripe age, where she would have to bear very important responsibilities.  So in a sense, she was old.

"Just a month and two weeks!", she yelled at the top of her lungs.  She could feel her wind pipes giving out on her and lying down on her bed did not help her release the loud screech.  Still, her shriek could be heard among the townsfolk of the upper class division.  Her people simply shrugged it off and thought the princess was in another one of her tantrums.  Their reactions bore no significance to her though.  She was too stressed to worry about appearances.

The arrangement of her room wasn't as intricate as one would imagine a princess' quarters to be.  Everything about it screamed simplicity.  A bed next to the window, simply for viewing pleasure, a desk near the wall, a closet facing the bed, and many other scattered things that almost cluttered the entire vicinity.  But somehow, she was comfortable.  It was very familiar to her and that was all that mattered.  [Her room looked very similar to Sora's, Roxas', Xion's, Axel's, and Ventus' who are the only ones shown to have bedrooms in the whole Kingdom Hearts Series.]  She leaped off of her bed, almost hitting her head on the motionless ceiling fan.  She proceeded to walk out of room, still bothered by the same thought.

"A month and two weeks..."

A Chance Encounter

The hours passed as her thoughts presented the same words in her mind.  She swung her arm and flicked her wrist violently, trying to muster up the power to wield such a key.  But every time she did so, nothing but a sigh and a cold feeling followed.  And after that, after every moment she failed to bring her latent powers out, she weeped a cry of defeat and the feeling of devastation engulfed her.

And so...for two whole weeks, she rinsed and repeated.  Just like the results of the instructions from a shampoo bottle, everything stayed the same.  She was nowhere closer to summoning it, and she probably would never be.

Her words continued through those weeks.  Day by day, her words changed.

"A month and one week..."
"A month and 3 days..."

And eventually...it was no more than a month left.  She had wasted two whole weeks on nothing, but trial and error.  She felt absolutely and terribly useless.  Was she even worth it?  Did she even have the power to do so?  These were the questions plaguing her mind and it began to drive her insane.

There was one highlight though.  Something that probably saved her from flipping the lid, a boy.

During her times of rinsing and repeating, she came a across a teenaged boy named Uchuu.  He had just moved in to the very best parts of the upper division.  He was very handsome, wearing clothes that were new to her very eyes and to the kingdom itself.  Every aspect about the boy had charm written all over it.  He had perfect locks, only rivaled by his devilish smile.  He was toned and wore very dashing clothes.  And the appeal to the eyes, eventually led her to become curious about the boy.

Everyday, while she tried her best to finally achieve her powers, she followed him.  She became quite fond of the boy and decided he was worth her time.  For the first couple of days, she only followed the boy up to a coffee shop in town, The Sky Cafe.  It was a small place, but well renowned.  And for those first couple of days he would repeat the same thing.  He would sit near the door, having a nice view of the outside, through the transparent walls, seeming to have no care in the world.  Eventually, after sitting for about ten minutes, he would order a coffee with whipped cream on top and make his way back.

While Hoshi had her own worries and pleasant surprises, a girl from the slums had only the former.  She was cursed with many different problems and there was no help to be found.  She could feel the weight of the world on her, as if it was truly what she had to carry.  Her name...was Sekai.

While this was happening, Sekai, a girl of the lower class had been struggling to keep up with her school work and almost dropped out. After her parents stopped caring, she made the decision, that it was best to take care of her brothers and sisters by herself. She had been joining monthly tournaments to earn the family some money, but her mom and dad just spent it on liquor and other assorted drugs. Not only that, but those tournaments were quite dangerous and had no rules, except 'winner take all'. Every month she would win, and proved that she was a quite good fighter, but she knew if she kept this up, she would eventually get hurt. She needed some other source of revenue. A way to leave the 'Slums.' The slums were the lower class region of the Kingdom of the Sky. Almost all the houses there were broken down and out of date. With the growing economic problem, the King decided it was best to spend all investments in the Castle and areas surrounding it, where the Upper Class resided. Obviously, this was a problem, but being on the benefitting side, none of the Upper Class really cared.
.
On the third time Hoshi came to the place, she decided to sit near him. She listened in on his conversations. It was just a suspicion, but apparently she had heard he was part of the Upper Class of the city. One day while listening, he turns around and finally addresses her.
"So what's up?", he asked.
"Huh?"
"Well, you've been following me around all week, how about we just chat instead of playing SCRA(Sky Castle Royal Agency)?", he said.
She quickly ran away. She couldn't believe how gorgeous the guy was. 'This can't be happening, this can't be', her faced turned pink. She walked up the castle stairs and into the Royal Chamber.
"Oh, Hoshi, my daughter has arrived", a man with a very deep voice said.
"Father?"
"Princess Hoshi, we have a predicament here", an old man with a large hat said.
The old man was sitting next to her father. He seemed to be a very religious figure. He was a priest.
"King Nihil (Pronounced Nile, like the river) Rod, has arranged your marriage for your 16th birthday" the priest said.
"What?!?", she was stunned. "Why, father?"
"There is only one month left Hoshi until your 16th birthday, and you have yet to show any sign of being able to wield our family's weapon."
"Give me more time", she pleaded.
"It's been decided Hoshi. In one month you will marry this gentleman, if you can not produce a Keyblade by that time."
He pointed to the side as a dark figure walked out of the darkness. It was the guy she had been following all week, Uchuu.
"YOU?!?", she was surprised.
"Yes, I tried making conversation with you earlier, but you ran."
She ran out of the chamber, running away from him again. 'This can't... I won't let it', she was lost in her thoughts. 'I don't care how good-looking he is, I'm not marrying someone I barely know.' She sat down on a ledge near the garden. Moments later...
"I'm a Keyblade Wielder", Uchuu told her as he was approaching. "I know about your problem. If you can't wield a Keyblade by the time you're sixteen you'll be forced on an arranged marriage with well... me."
"Jerk! I'd rather leave this world than marry you." Even though she liked the idea of being with him, if it wasn't arranged.
"But if you and I get married, we'd make the perfect Keyblade bearing children. Think about it. With the long line of Keyblade Wielders in your family and of course me, we'd breed the perfect wielders."
This pissed her off.
"Breed the perfect wielders?" she said furiously. "I'm not some type of machine who can just... Errrrrrr! If I were to even have children, they wouldn't be 'bred,' that's for sure! What the heck does SCRA even mean?" she yelled. Her mind was backtracking all the way to the restaurant.
'I was only thinking logically', Chu thought.
She stormed off, walking around the city, [where Chapter 2 picks up]. And so the story begins...

(This story takes place decades before the events of Birth By Sleep and a couple years before Ansem, The Wise is born.)

Chapter 1: Kage's Suspicion

"Lord Yami, I wish to speak with you, alone", a dark figure with armor said.

"What do you want, Kage?", he asked in an aloof state.

"I have a few things to address with you, personally", Kage said, talking through a miniature portable TV screen-like device. He wanted to talk about a situation currently unknown his master.

"Spit it out", Yami answered.

"I wish to talk to you about the current state of things."

"What things?"

"Problems."

"What Problems, Kage?"

"Well, sir. I sense a disturbance in the atmosphere."

"What kind of disturbance?"

"Sir, I have a hunch our plans will fail", Kage said. He seemed to be worried for no reason at all.

"What? Ridiculous", he said. "Did you mysteriously gain oracle powers while I was gone?", he asked sarcastically.

"Sir.. No disrespect, but you know for a fact I've been always right with these hunches."

"Oh, so you are an oracle? Well can you tell me what I'm having for lunch tomorrow?"

"Sir-"

"I don't think that's it. Enough, Kage. Maybe you should stop your endless babbling and press forward with our plan. I'm pretty sure, as the Leader of my Knights, you should be able to do what your told", he said passively. But somehow his words were very convincing and got through to Kage.

Yami turned off the screen and resumed his nap. Whatever the hunch was about, Kage wouldn't be able to tell him now. He was sitting in a dark room. There was a chair next to him, that was currently empty and 5 Monitors in front of him on a table. All 5 were aligned perfectly horizontal, all facing him. All but one of them, the far right one, was off. It was the one he was using to communicate to Kage.

"Damn it!" Kage said, as he slammed his hand on the desk. He was in a similar room as Yami. It was dark and the screen was also on his desk, but a bit more enclosed.

"He's an idiot. I know this can't be just a hunch." He got up.

"He knows very well I wouldn't babble on about nothing." He started to pace around. "I know I'm definitely right, but for now I will follow his orders. I am his most loyal servant and more importantly, Knight." He walked out of the room and into the shadows.

"Time to proceed with the plans."

A woman with shining blonde hair similar to the that of the texture of silk and beautiful blue eyes passed by. She had a white dress, that increasingly extended outward from her waist to just below her knees. It was similar to a wedding dress with small ruffle-like material on the bottom. [she has a striking resemblance to Namine.] She walked through the dark room, where Yami was sleeping. 'Maybe it is not the best time to disturb him.' She left the room closing the door silently. All of a sudden, she had the strangest feeling of something terrible happening. She pushed it aside, and continued on walking.

Although unconscious, Yami felt Hikari pass by. His look was completely opposite of her. His eyes were light green, but piercing. His hair was dark with some purple here and there. And even though they were very opposite of each other, they had a very strange connection. But he kept sleeping, putting his feet on the table in front of him, unconsciously. His head was down, with a slight slouch, as he leaned on the back of his chair.

After a few hours, Yami woke up from his nap.

'Hey Kari', he said in his mind, apparently addressing Hikari. There was only one person who called her that, and so she figured it was Yami.

'I want you to keep an eye on Kage, his suspicious activity has worried me. He is like the general of our forces; if he strays from the plan, the whole thing crumbles. I want you to look for his replacement, just in case.' He got up from his chair and exited the room.

'You have my word', she replied.

'Good, I expect no less from you. I will be heading into the City of Skyscrapers to do business with our contact.' He arrived at his destination in seconds, after opening a portal of darkness.

Hikari spotted Kage standing on the group of cliffs and hid in the shadows to avoid exposure. She wondered what Kage was thinking about as he mumbled to himself. She just needed to stay around him to make sure he didn't do anything wrong to corrupt the plans.

Kage was still quite angry at his master. The bright red sunset, he was staring at matched his deep frustration on the matter. But the winds were calming and the sunset wasn't that half bad either.

"The view here sure is nice...", he said quite happily. But suddenly, the tone of his voice drastically changed. "It's a shame our plans will have to ruin it. The sun will never be able to shine like this ever again", Kage said.

He looked around to check if anyone had heard him. There was no one. No one to hear his and his group's dastardly plans. At least, no one who would oppose these evil plans.

Yami walked through the busy streets of the city. Everyone had floating vehicles, so it wasn't hard to cross any street there. While walking, he could tell which ones were the Keyblade Wielders and which ones were not. The normal civilians lacked a certain gadgetry, a glider. A glider was how a Keyblade wielder would commute around the worlds alone. It was quite efficient, and every person had their own version of it. There was never two of the same kind.

He walked into the tallest building in the city and took the elevator up. "Elevator music is so relaxing", he said as if he didn't have a care in the world.

When he got to the top floor, he made a right. There were two large elephant-sized doors blocking his way. He knocked on the door.

"Who is it?", a woman on the other side of the door asked. "M.R.", he answered.

The doors opened and he proceeded to speak immediately. He was on an urgent mission after all.

"I need a young Keyblade Wielder with the basic skills", he said. There was a man sitting on a chair facing opposite of Yami. He was staring at the window, while a huge desk separated the two. The woman who had answered earlier, was sitting right next to him looking at Yami. "Alright", the man answered. A young boy came up from the floor.

"Yes sir?", the boy asked.

A shroud of darkness in the form of purple bats grabbed a hold of him and went inside him. His eyes turned yellow and his hair turned completely dark. Just dark, there was no color. "I want you to kidnap this girl's siblings", Yami said as he showed him a picture of a beautiful young girl. She was wearing school clothes, a jacket connected to a scarf that tied around her neck and fingerless gloves. She had beautiful, long silver hair. They were being blown back in this picture as she pointed the dagger forward.

"She's beautiful!", the boy said. Yami's eyebrows descended. His face turned darker.

"But she will have to go", said the boy. He used a dark portal, to get to the roof and threw his Keyblade out. The Keyblade turned into a glider as it came back down. He then pressed his armor button on his shoulder and rode off with his glider.

"All our plans are almost in full motion", he said.

"Perfect Lord Yami", the man on the chair answered.

"Father", the girl sitting next to him said. She had pink hair and wore glasses. Her hair was up, resembling a secretary. "I still see three stars in the sky... and they're burning brightly."

The man looked up into the sky.

Chapter 2: What a Key Bearer Truly Bears... (Super Long Chapter :|)As, Hoshi stormed off, her mind lingered on Uchuu's ridiculous comments. Especially his insistence on calling him 'Chu'. She refused to call him by his nickname, Chu, which she heard everyone in the streets call him by. A nickname was a term of endearment, but he was not dear to her at all. She marched out of the Castle Gates and down the street. She wandered into the 'Slums.'"Who does that guy think he is? Ugh.." she asked.'How did I get here?', she wondered."I probably won't finish it. Again", Sekai sighed, as she took a "break" from her schoolwork.Sekai was sitting on top of the roof fiddling with her knife. She always tried keeping her brothers and sisters distracted long enough to finish it. It was tiring work doing both. These "breaks" had been happening more frequently these days. She wouldn't finish her homework, or schoolwork for that matter, and her teachers would give her no credit. Straight F's for the third quarter in a row.But it wasn't like their mother and father ever cared. Being the oldest, she felt it was her responsibility to give them the love that their mom and dad refused to give. She looked down onto the streets and saw a noble walking through. Sekai slid down the roof landing in an alley beside her house. She went over to the corner and leaned against the wall."Hey, what's a noble like you, doing in a place like this?" Sekai said, cheerfully after the noble had walked a little ways past her.Hoshi looked at the girl barking at her."Huh?" she said, lost in her thoughts. She saw the girl holding a dagger and thought of something for her to do."Hey, are you from around here?", she didn't let the girl answer. "Well anyway, are you good with that?" she pointed to her dagger."If you call winning first in every monthly tournament good, then yeah!", Sekai smiled. "Why?" She added.Well, you guessed it. I'm a noble!", Hoshi answered. "And not just any noble, I'm Hoshi [Rod], heir to the throne", she said standing tall and full of herself. "I need you to help me train! So how about it?", leaving out her month time limit. She thought if the girl knew, she would just laugh at her."Haven't gotten your Keyblade yet, eh?" Sekai continued grinning. "I'll help ya, but I need to know what's in it for me."'Dang.' She thought. 'Oh well, there's no hiding it now.' "What do you want?", she asked desperately.Sekai stood there thinking of something good to ask for. Hoshi was getting antsy waiting for a reply.'She's taking quite some time to ask.', Hoshi thought.'Well, I guess if it was me, I'd want to get my "wish" right. Hmm... What would I want?', she thought it over for a bit.'Well duh, becoming a Keyblade Wielder.'Sekai was still not done deciding."Hey, well listen. I'm pressed for time", Hoshi said, not wanting to wait any longer. "When you decide on what it is that you want, just show up in front of the Castle. I'll have someone get you, if I'm not there."Hoshi started to run back to the castle. 'I wonder what that jerk is doing.'As she was nearing the castle she decided to slow down.'Even if she helps me train, how am I going to summon a Keyblade?', she asked herself. 'Oh!', she came up with the perfect plan. 'Maybe if I carry something similar to it, I can awaken my powers faster, but I'm gonna need HIS help.', somewhat irritated at the thought of Uchuu helping her out. She picked up her pace and started running again.Uchuu sat at the edge of the highest tower in the castle. He was not very comfortable with heights, but somehow could never resist coming up here whenever he needed to think. It was still pretty early in the morning. He was glad the tower had proper railing at the edges, which dismissed his worries of falling. Aside from the fear of heights, the view from the beautiful, silver tower was fantastic. And also, a good view of the slums with a mountain overshadowing it.He sat there in deep thought. 'What's she so mad about? It's just a nickname.' He got up on his feet and raised his arm, a flash of light and a Keyblade appeared. The Keyblade was mostly made of two three feet long, silver blades, that connected the black hilt to the tip. On the tip there was a white colored heart made with a large chunk from one side completely gone making it look like a "half-destroyed heart", which happened to be its name. No one knew he had a Keyblade, except for Hoshi, and most certainly had no idea how he got it. All the civilians knew was that he showed up to the castle sometime from now to train to become a Keyblade Master. He hid his story very well by cracking jokes and puns almost all the time.He turned to the tower entrance. There were several small lines on the wall. He made another one with his Keyblade. His Keyblade burst into light and disappeared.Uchuu looked at the markings."163 days", he said to himself and entered the tower, going downstairs to the castle.Uchuu exited the castle. He walked across the large garden moving towards the castle gates. He noticed Hoshi was running towards him. He thought about running for cover as he was sure she found something to hit him with. But he decided to stay thinking, "Imma take it like a man... I hope."Hoshi slowed down as she approached him. She realized she forgot something and ran across the garden to a large bent tree. She looked for a nice long one, about 2 to 3 feet long. But it was too high to reach."Hey Uchuu!" she called out. "Can you reach up and get that for me?", she asked as she pointed to the branch that was just a little out of her reach."Cut it with your Keyblade, please!" she asked ever so nicely.'WHAT!? How did she know about the keyblade!?', Uchuu thought. The shock was clearly visible all over his face. He decided to play dumb."I have a keyblade?", he asked with a very convincing, clueless expression on his face, hoping that Hoshi was just joking."I distinctly remember you showing me your Keyblade." she said, thinking he was just playing around. "Just reach for the branch and hand it to me, please. I need it!"'I did? How did I forget that? I wasn't supposed to show her...', he thought."Oh right, hun", he said playfully, with a smile that clearly annoyed Hoshi. He summoned his Keyblade and cut off the branch."Here you go, have fun", Uchuu said. As he was handing it to her he suddenly pulled it back before she could even touch it. Her smile turned into a frown as she was about to blow."May I ask what you even want this for?", he asked."Glad you asked!", she answered. "I actually think, maybe if I hold the branch like a Keyblade, it will do some transference thing and finally awaken my powers! What do you think? Brilliant right?" She truly believed this would work. Her heart was set on it.Chu thought she was joking, but seeing how serious and hopeful she seemed he simply shrugged and said," I guess so. But how about a much better idea?" He held out his Keyblade to Hoshi and put it in her hand."You can practice with this for a while. I don't know if it'll work, but it might do better than that piece of wood."She reached for the Keyblade, but just like the branch, he pulled it back."Ah Uh Ah", he said, shaking his finger at her. "If I do this for you, promise you won't be mad at me anymore.""Fine!", she said with an angry face."C'mon, I know you can do better than that", he said as he used his index fingers to push the side of her lips up to form a smile."Perfect!"He gave her the Keyblade. As soon as she grabbed on to the Keyblade, it fell to the ground, dragging her shoulders down with it.'This is so heavy', she thought. She didn't want him to think she was weak so she picked up the Keyblade and laid it behind the back of her head. [Like Sora in Kingdom Hearts 2]. But her blonde streak surrounded by her pink hair, got caught on the tip of it. She tried to play it off."Kay, now what?", she asked, feeling very uncomfortable.'I don't think I can keep this up.'"Well let's start with the basics shall we?", Uchuu said as he took the branch from her and pointed it towards her."Defense is the first and most important thing to know". He swung the branch towards her, as she tried to block him with the keyblade. Too tired to do so, she was struck on the face. She dropped the Keyblade."Uhh, are you alright?", he asked as he reached out his hand to help her out.She picked the Keyblade. "I'm fine, I just wasn't ready", she said, breathing harder than before. "One more time."He swung the branch again. She knew she wouldn't be able to block with the Keyblade, so she let the Keyblade's tip slip to the ground as she blocked the branch with her left hand. "How's this?", she asked. The Keyblade disappeared from her hands, reappearing into Uchuu's hands. Suddenly she was back to full strength."Uhh, I'm pretty sure the point of that was to block with this", he said as he held the Keyblade with ease.'Is that what it feels to wield one? He must be super strong', she thought. 'Maybe it isn't so easy after all.'
