Let me begin by saying that I've played through the entire KH series, save for Dream Drop Distance, though I'm familiar with the game's plot. However, I've been wondering about a lot of unexplained and unspecified events that occur throughout the games. If anyone can help clear them up for me, it would be much appreciated. Here they are:

 

1. In BBS, Master Xehanort attempts to create the X-Blade by fusing Ventus and Vanitas. However, in a flash-back, before Vanitas was ever extracted from Ventus' heart, it seemed as though Xehanort was still intent on forging the X-Blade during his training with Ventus, even before he had decided to remove the darkness from Ventus. So how was he originally planning on creating the X-Blade with just Ventus? I thought a heart of pure light and a heart of pure darkness were required to clash in order to summon the weapon.

 

2. In DDD, it is mentioned that the fragments of the original X-Blade reside within the hearts of the princesses. So, in KH1, why didn't Ansem SoD just remove those X-Blade fragments from the hearts of the princesses he had gathered? He was apparently aware of MX's plan at the time, wasn't he?

 

3. How can Young Xehanort travel through time without casting off his flesh?

 

4. In KH1, Maleficent and her council are bent on locating the keyholes of the worlds they plagued with heartless. What was their reason for seeking out the keyholes? It's not as if they wanted to seal them.

 

5. Xemnas refers to Aqua's armor as an "old friend" in KH2FM. Does this mean he has Terra's memories? If so, why would he proceed with his evil plans, both for himself (creating an artificial Kingdom Hearts) and Master Xehanort (using the organization as vessels.)

 

6. What is Ventus' ACTUAL connection to Roxas? Some say he IS Ventus, others say he's just Sora's nobody with Ventus' appearance, ect.

 

7. What ever happened to Apprentice Xehanort? He's only seen briefly in the beginning of DDD, due to the defeat of Xemnas and Ansem. Is he aware or even apart of Master Xehanort's grand plan?

 

8. From what I have noticed, in BBS when Riku and Kairi made contact with a Keyblade, that pretty much enabled them to use/wield/summon the Keyblade. I point this out mostly due to Leon psychically swiping the Keyblade from Sora in KH1 and then Sora handing the Keyblade to Jack Sparrow in KH2. Does this mean that they, too, can wield the Keyblade?

 

9. I haven't been able to find a translated version of the DDD scene where Maleficent and Pete are inside Disney Castle, holding Minnie hostage. What is they want? Control of the castle? Because I didn't think it was even possible for Maleficent to step foot in the castle due to the Cornerstone of Light.

 

10. It is revealed that nobodies can grow hearts. If Roxas had apparently grown his own heart, does that mean Sora now has two hearts inside him . . . or did their hearts conjoin together when they reunited in KH2?

 

11. Why is Xion seen as multiple people? To Xigbar, she looks like Ventus. To Sora, she looks like Namine.

 

Phew, that was a lot! Looking forward to some answers!

One last thing I forgot to mention. According to Sora, Kingdom Hearts is light, which was what ultimately extinguished Ansem SoD after he opened the door to darkness. So, logically, wouldn't MX and his new organization, being the thirteen darknesses, suffer that same fate if they were to attain Kingdom Hearts? The light would simply extinguish them too, correct?

 

And also that wasn't the real kingdom hearts . . . that kingdom hearts was created only from the hearts of the worlds that the heartless had consumed and therefore not all of the worlds hearts (the real KH). The mythology of what Kingsom Hearts is has changed as the series has progressed. In KH1 it was the combination of all the world hearts the heartless had consumed. In KhII it was artificially made using hearts freed by the keyblade. In BBS is was the combination of all the worlds hearts (but failed since the X-blade created was a fake). The essence of the KHII kingdom hearts was a lot different to the first one (it was corrupted by the desires of Xemnas showing that Kingdom Hearts real power is creating worlds in your image essentially). The KH in the first game had darkness inside it too, its just the light that is also in KH was too strong for a Heartless to handle (something that does not have a body) whereas the Darknesses are somebodies so have a physical body that can survive light and darkness.

Irregardless, Darknesses wouldn't be destroyed by the KH light as they are somebodies/have bodies . . . . maybe their hearts would become slightly less dark, but idk. ASoD might get destroyed again lol

LOL! I was going to say, that would be pretty harsh for them to move on with their plans without caring whether or not ASoD would survive Kingdom Hearts

1) In BBS Master Xehanort though a heart had to have a "level" of light equivalent to the darkness. Ventus wouldn't grow his darkness, so he split it in the form of Vanitas to grow him by himself. in the end Ventus and Vanitas have the same heart

 

2)According to Master Xehanort he was trying to keep it a secret, but in the end Nomura had no idea he would use this idea in the future, so he couldn't help the mistake.

 

3)According to the subtitles, he cast off his off his flesh. But another explanation could be that he's only travelling forward, and everything will be back to its own place, so I think the rules apply differently

 

4)You should know this one, it's pretty simple. Maleficent was trying to throw the worlds into darkness, destroy them along with the Heartless

 

5)He's not actually Terra. He remembered he possessed him body and was sarcastic

 

6)The connection is merely the fact that Sora is carrying Ventus heart and that made Roxas look like him because of this.

 

7)Xehanort apprentice became Xemnas and Ansem SoD. Who knows if he's a part of Master Xehanort's plans, that is to be revealed

Sorry about that, i'll try to answer it this time...

 

1)Master Xehanort tryed to make Ven's darkness grow so that it would be on the same of his darkness, and that's how he palnned to ontain the X-Blade. but since Ven wouldn't do that he extracted the darkness to make it grow outside Ventus, and that's when Vaniitas shows up. They're the same person in the end, and they fused to obtain the X-Blade (not that Ventus wanted this anyway

 

2)Nomura didn't actually go through with a mistake... He said Ansem was aware of the plan but in KH1 he didn't even know KH would go so far... But the excuse he used was that Ansem wouldn't tell Sora because it was all a secret and he didn't had the time to truly achive his goals, because Sora kinda destroyed him (way to go!!!)

 

3)I don't get this whole time travel thing exactly, but we'll get better answers when KH3D has it's NA release, so just a little!

 

4)The goal of the Heartless was to corrupt the worlds in darkness and destroy them, just like they did in Destiny Islands in the beginning of KH1. Maleficent and the other villains were just "helping them out",since they wanted chaos. Why would they want to destroy tghe worlds you say? Well they're crazy villains, they don't have a good reason... Maleficent destroyed her own world! why leave the rest, right?

 

5)Xehanort possessed Terra and he knows that Terra was friends with Aqua.Terra is not controlling his own body, don't forget that! He was sarcastic/He used sarcasm to adress to Aqua as a friend. Xemnas or Xehanort don't think they're Aqua's friends...
