Dear Nomura

I was 7 years old when I bought Kingdom Hearts. I was shopping with my mother and, as almost all kids, I was complaining and saying "I want a game, there are ps2 games, i want one!". Luckily my mother allowed me to buy one, but i didn't see any interesting game, only cars and educational games. With your grey Platinum cover I saw you, Kingdom Hearts. I didn't understand what was that game about but it was.."catchy", I feel something magic from it. It was only 10 euros and my mother bought it.

I was playing for hours that tiny disc in my fat ps2 and I loved that. Yeah, I was a little kid, I understood few of the plot. Although it wasn't real and I didn't love videogaming, I was very sad when Riku hit Sora and Sora was betrayed by his best friend. But the ending made me understand true friendship and light.

After few years I had lost any news of new sequel, I was a kid, for me the first KIngdom Hearts was enough. One day, one of my schoolmates took a Gameboy Advance SP. I had one too, but the game in it was new. Even at that day, I felt nostalgic when I saw Kingdom Hearts:Chain of Memories. When I was 10 years old, I felt that KH was already part of my heart and my life. I've to admit it, I stole it from my friend for atleast one year! Now it's again his game, sadly.

It was a cloudy day and TV shows were very boring. Only stupid gossip and boring news, for me 13 years old. Then I saw it in a spot: Kingdom Hearts 2 is coming out in next week! The song Sanctuary made me remember of those days, those dreams with Sora, Riku, Kairi, Goofy, Donald and all KH characters. I returned kid again and bought it immediately. I'd lying if I say I wasn't crying when Roxas "summer vacation" was over or when Sora meets again Riku. I know now it is all too much exageretted, but i wanted to believe I was with him, Sora. Then, sorry, Kingdom Hearts, but my school and life took over you.

I'm 19 years old now, but I still remember you. I played Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days on my DS, even if it wasn't magic as the others it felt very touching and sad. In fact, Roxas is my favourite character. I skipped Kingdom Hearts Bbs but i'm about to play you too, to understand better that fantastic world. My friend is about to let me steal his PSP to play it. I skipped even Codec, but it seems I did right. I'm about, or at least I want, to buy a 3DS to play KH:Dream Drop Distance too (and other games), because I want really to be part of that amazing story called Kingdom Hearts.

I'm 19 years old now, I knew a lot of people who love this series. Although KHs are not the perfect games, I still love your work, Nomura. I'm a man now. So many years ago I met a disc who changed my life. But when I listen KH OST I remember all my age...

Kingdom Hearts. Please, take more care of it, Nomura.

Have a wonderful day.
