No. Its just a term. You share your account info with another person, activate your PS3 for games on their account, and download what they have. DLC, games, themes, etc. I do it with a friend's brother. We change our passwords to something bogus like "cookies83" or something and then go on each other's account so they wont know our actual password.

No problem. Choose wisely who you share with. Only 2 ps3s can be activated on each account It used to be 5 but Sony took it down to 2. Probably because of gamesharing..

Now that I know what it is, I'd gladly gameshare with someone. Unfortunately, I don't really have much to offer. FF7 is the only game I've downloaded (besides some demos), the rest of my games are physical copies.
