June 25, 201213 yr If you're not taking the course from a company (like through a school or independent organization) then you can take the written test at your DMV.

Yeah I'm taking the course through my scholls Drivers Ed. program, but I was only 14 when the test guy came in so I was unable to take it...thank you for your help!

I took it the written exam through my school, but I had to do the practical at the DMV. For some reason, they made me retake the written part there too, so I'm sure yours will have it.
June 25, 201213 yr i remember taking a driving class at my school. When we pass the class we had to go to the local DMV and do the written test there
