In the beginning, Chase was just a young teenager, who went to a highschool that controlled it's own small tournament, in which students could go and enter, showing off there strength. After a few years, Chase went on a school field to a lab reactor that tested re-usage of fire energy through grabbing fire in use. A saftey beam broke, causing him to fall into a fireball in the middle of being fired. As the fireball hit him, the ball disappeared, revealing Chase in his soul release, but then, it shortly lasted as the phoenix within him hid, wishing to not reveal itself to human eye's. The incident was just 2 days ago, in which what began the adventure of his life.

 

 

It was lunch time, 12:05 exact, location was in the gym, Chase trained in there like others, wearing 20 pound weights, punching ultra fast and kicking just as fast. He took a drink of water, washed up, then left the gym. Walking in the hall, he sighed. "What happened those 2 days ago.... I was fried....wasnt I...?" this question haunted him.

Matryx stepped back, away from the boy who ran into him. "Hey, watch where you walk...". Matryx reached a group of people and he walked through the crowd. The people left a big circle in the middle of the crowd, it was a ring. Matryx began to wait for Chase.

Chase smiled, then looked at Haruhi. "Gimme a minute." he turned as Matryx ran. "It was a draw!! Which ment the fight was finished!!" he yelled in the direction and turned back to Haruhi. "You wish to be my study student?" he smiled, patting her head gently.

 

off in the distance.....

 

"What do you have about that boy, Pigeon." the man in white spoke, walking by the school from a distance. A pigeon flew to his shoulder, then spoke into his ear. "I see... A phoenix huh? just what I need to become complete." The man in white slowly walked off.

Haruhi turned red for the third time today.

"Yeah." she said in a low voice.

Chase smiled, "When would you like to start? It's the weekend, so if you ever wish to talk to me, here's my number." he hands her a slip of paper, and then begins walking home, not even going to oblige Matryx's request.

Haruhi stares at the number in her hand. She doesn't usually like to call people because of her lack in talking, but this would be worth it. She put the slip of paper in her pocket, determined to call him by tommorow. She then started to walk home.

Jen had been stuck at home ever since the incident in India. "Stupid, over-proctective parents." she muttered, staring out her window. At least tomorrow she'd be able to go back to school. Sighing, she admired and stared at the henna tattoo on her hand for the millionth time. "Want to start glowing again?" she asked, almost hopeful something would happen. One second, two seconds, three seconds went by. "Nothing? Oh well." she sighed.

After much waiting behind the school, one by one the audience began to u. Hours passed and no Chase. Matryx eventually gave up and went home.

Lumi then transformed back and ran home. "Lumi are you doing okay?" her mother asked. "I'm fine." she said walking to her room.

Haruhi opened the door to her house and went upstairs without seeing either of her parents. They weren't home at this time of day, the always came home in the middle of the night because they worked long hours. Even longer for the hospital bill....

Haruhi opened her book and starting reading up on all the subjects she missed. Only problem was, she was having trouble understanding. She put her hands to her face and through her hair.

"Guess I'm gonna have to call Chase sometime..." she said very irritated....

Chase was at home, sitting in his room, reading a book. As he was reading, he got text messages on his phone, but no calls, which kind of made him feel... worthless. "So much for being a tutor..." he sighed in disappointment. After he was done reading some of his book, he layed it down with his bookmark, which then, he just layed there, not sleepy at all, looking through his phone.

Haruhi took a deep breath and dialed Chases number. The phone started to ring, she was getting really nervous.

Matryx finally got home. When he walked in his dad was in his recliner watch some of his old recorded UFC fights. "I'm home," "did you kick butt?" 'If I told him he wouldn't let me let it down.' Matryx thought to himself before lying to his dad. "Yes...I'm going to go to bed." "Night!"

Matryx walked to his room and pouted.

Chase was in the middle of looking through his phone, when he see's a random person calling. "Huh?" He answered. "Hello? This is Chase." he smiled, hoping someone would be at the other end of the line, and it not be a prank call.

Haruhi choked a little.

"H-Hi....." she said nervously, "I was calling about the tutoring.... I need help...." she said getting a little too nervous.

He smiled, happy to hear from someone. "Hey! What is it you need help with.?" He was very eager to help out, hoping to make someone pass the grade and continue on.

"Well, um, I missed all of last week and I tried to learn it all myself, but I honestly can't. Can we... Make a time tomorrow when we can meet up?" she said being cautious with her words.

Chase looked at the Calender, then giggled a little. "Im free tomorrow anytime. Just call me again when you wan't to meet up with me, alright..?" He smiled, feeling useful. He felt the beginning of a long friendship between him and her, even Matryx and anyone else he would talk to.

"O-okay," She said, "Is 3 tomorrow okay...?" she said a little quietly, but loud enough to hear. She really didn't like talking to people, but if she had to do it, she would. She wanted to stay a straight A student, and she'd try as hard as possible to do just that.

Chase smiled, "3 would be fine.~ Just call me in the morning and let me know where you want to go, alright.?" he looked at all his materials, then got tomorrows clothes ready, all while still on the phone.

"Okay." she said, somehow not afraid anymore. "I'll call you tomorrow."

One thing Haruhi knew was that she was a very happy girl, just not when it came to people. Around her parents, she was a pocket of sunshine, or Atleast that's what her father told her. She was always helping out, and smiling. Just not at school and in public. People made her nervous and quiet. With people she trusted, she would open up completely and turn into a completely different person. And she hated that. She hated how she couldn't be like that to everyone. She hated it completely.

He smiled, "Have a goodnight~" he hung up his phone, all excited and happy. He layed in his bed, and next thing he knew, he was passed out, his smile still attached to his face.

 

A pigeon flew back to the man in white, then the man smiled. "So, all we need is someone to follow.." He sighed, slowly walking away with his cane.

Haruhi put the phone down and flopped on her bed. She wasn't sure if she should be smiling or frowning. She was happy she was getting out more, proud of herself actually, but she was also worried about her speaking. Could she just talk to this boy? Open up even? "That's never happened, so maybe it's not possible..." she thought to herself. Soon enough, she fell asleep.

Drake walked into the building that was off on an island, looking out the main window. The Pigeon transformed, a man of normal clothes had appeared, "Your experiment was a success. I can now serve you from the skies, my master." He bowed to the man in white. "Thank you, you may leave now." Drake said with a smirk. As the man left, Drake smacked his cane down against the ground, then, Two Huge figures, both black and Ninja Looking, they responded. "I Am Ana." Drake smiled, "Retrieve the boy for me, I wish to become Immortal soon." "I am Ana." the Ana replied, as if thats all they said. They disappeared, then Drake starred out into the window. "Let the games, begin."
