In the beginning, Chase was just a young teenager, who went to a highschool that controlled it's own small tournament, in which students could go and enter, showing off there strength. After a few years, Chase went on a school field to a lab reactor that tested re-usage of fire energy through grabbing fire in use. A saftey beam broke, causing him to fall into a fireball in the middle of being fired. As the fireball hit him, the ball disappeared, revealing Chase in his soul release, but then, it shortly lasted as the phoenix within him hid, wishing to not reveal itself to human eye's. The incident was just 2 days ago, in which what began the adventure of his life.

 

 

It was lunch time, 12:05 exact, location was in the gym, Chase trained in there like others, wearing 20 pound weights, punching ultra fast and kicking just as fast. He took a drink of water, washed up, then left the gym. Walking in the hall, he sighed. "What happened those 2 days ago.... I was fried....wasnt I...?" this question haunted him.

Chase was getting irritated for once, "Why dont you just STOOOOP!!!!" At that moment, chase's arm transformed, the flame-like aura surrounded his arm. He punches Matryx in the chest, effectively re-breaking his ribs again, and cracking his sternum. The force of the punch sends Matryx slightly flying, hitting the ground hard. "Wha..?" Chase see's his arm ablaze, then it slowly fades away, his arm seemed to be unaffected by the fire.

At that, Haruhi got to her feet and stared walking over to Matryx.

"Are you okay???" she said looking at him.

"You're telling me." Jen mumbled, eyes wide at what had just happened. When his arm went ablaze, the flame made her feel immediate discomfort. Like wearing an itchy wool sweater in the summer. She ignored the sudden flare-up, and hurried over to Matryx. "Is he breathing?" she asked. If this is how they were fighting, it's probably a miracle he made it this far.

Matryx let out a gasp and looked up at Chase. "Wh-what?!" Matryx got back up and again no pain....

Matryx was fully healed again."I'm not going to lose!"

"The reason why they are fighting is because they are Idiots." Lumi said, sitting down.

A man in white began clapping, he slowly walked up between the two. "Bravo boys, Bravo! Excellent performance, though I must say, how did you do that one thing my young boy?" he pointed his cane at chase, waiting for an answer.

"And who might you be?!" Lumi asked the white man, standing up.

Matryx interrupted the man in white, "we're busy!"

Haruhi cut in the fight.

"Continue this later, we have stuff to do. Please." she said looking at Matryx.

The man in white simply ignored Matyrx, then walked to chase. "I'm simply astonished! You must tell me where that fire came from!" He was very interested in what Chase did.

"I dont have a clue man! Now if you excuse me, I got someone who needs help on there work!" Chase had become aggravated.

Matryx just out of no where passed out.

Haruhi gasped and ran over to Matryx.

"Gosh!! Somebody help!" she said kneeling down next to him.

Some people that where in the park called for an ambulance, in which they came and picked up Matryx. The man had disappeared, as if he never was there, Haruhi and the other two girls where just standing there, probably confused like he was, but he didn't care, for he just looked at his arm, then slowly went to sit back down. Great.... now people will begin to look down on me.... as some kind of freak.... some regular teenager.... Chase looked down at the table.... not knowing what just happened, also knowing that now some people will never see him the same. with a depressed look, he simply packed his things and left, leaving Haruhi a text message.

 

 

"Im sorry... maybe tomorrow...."

"It's okay. I guess I might see you tomorrow." she texted back to Chase. "Are you okay?" she asked him.

He looked back at his phone as he had already left the park, then looked at her message. Chase texted back, "nothing..." then turned his phone off. When he got home, he threw his things to the floor, then fell onto the couch. He layed there, instantly passing out.

thomas was a young teen that was walking the hallways

of Twlight Town High and he was listing to his mp3 player until... he accidentally bumped into Haruhi

Haruhi walked home worrying about Chase.

"Gosh.... I sure hope he's alright... He seems a bit down...." she thought to herself. When she got home, her mother and father were out of the house. She walked upstairs and sat on her bed.

"I guess I should keep studying..." she said as she opened her math book.

Jen walked away from the park, still not quite ready to go home. She decided to take a path that she'd never been on, and found herself on an empty sidewalk. There was something weird starting. Way to state the obvious. She thought dully to herself. A cool breeze on the back of her neck made her look up. Somehow, she'd found her way back to her house.

"He has been cursed as well." Lumi said to herself, heading home. She became tired, really tired. She lugged her legs, they felt like 1000 pounds. Lumi walked down her hallway, her feet felt like there was soda on the ground or something. When she got to her room, she took her shoes of and fell unconscious on her bed.

Eventually Matryx woke up in a hospital bed. "How did I get here? " ,'oh! Yeah!' Matryx remembered what happened and grabbed his shoulder "how- "

 

A young man walked the halls of the hospital. Wearing all black with his hood up. He walked to the room Matryx was is and stood in side the room right next to the door. "Hello,"

Lumi woke up, a bit dizzy. She did not bother getting out of bed, she just sat there, looking at the falling snow

(NO, NO, NO. I AM NOT LETTING THIS DIE. NO. NO NONONONDYVDDSHGESHUS)

The man who walked in Matryx's hospital room introduced him self as he room off his hood. "My name is Skylar. I was at the park when your fight happened and I'm probably the only one who can explain what happened to that other guys arm and why you haven't died. Have you ever heard of an Over soul?"

After many minutes, almost an hour, Skylar explained what happened and what a Over Soul was. "But I'm not completely sure what soul you have, many have the power of recovery but mending bones that kinda more on the rare side. You probably wont know till you transform. Just make sure you don't over build."

"Over build?" Matryx asked Skylar

"Yes, over build. Its when you build up to much energy in your body for your transformation. If it gets to bad you could just simply explode; imagine you are a balloon and the energy you build is air, you don't want to over fill and pop."

Matryx's eyes widened.'pop!' He thought to himself. "That wouldn't be good!"

"No it wouldn't." Skylar put his hood up and step backwards into the shadows and disappeared. Matryx just stared at where Skylar was once standing and thought about what he said. 'What would my build be?'

 

(I won't let it die!!!!!)

Chase woke up slowly, his vision blurred slightly, his phone in his hand. Thats right... I freaked out.... then went home.. He felt bad for what he did, but he couldnt give up now. All he hoped was that everyone wouldnt look down on him, and that they would still see him as the loving and caring person he was. Chase stomped his shoes on, then began running out his house, shutting and locking his door, then pulls out his cellphone, texting Haruhi, "Meet me at the old tree behind the school around 6, alright? Thanks!" He continued running, feeling his new determination give him hope.

(HAHAHAHHAHA!!! NO DYING TODAY!!!)

 

Haruhi got his text message and texted him back.

"Okay! I'll be there!"

She got up, Deciding before she went, she was going to visit Matryx at the hospital.

"It's the right thing to do...." she thought to herself.

Gathering her stuff, she walked out of the door to the hospital.
