I woke up to the sound of soldiers' feet,

And as I gazed upon the city street,

Instead the air was filled with ghouls and undead,

Some looked 1000 years underfed.

I heard screams that came from across the way,

But all of them stopped or eventually faded away.

A small "knock knock" echoed up the stairwell,

Something inhuman replaced the sound of the doorbell.

I crept downstairs and to my left,

Before my eyes stood the terrible Soul Theft.

His eyes like oil, his face in disguise,

He's just like I pictured in Mother's lullabies.

From his cloak stood a small little boy,

In his hands he grasped a small music box toy.

The boy wound it up, showing no emotion whatsoever,

And the horrid tune made my heartstrings sever.

I fell down the steps, as I writhed in disgust,

My body began to dissipate into sparkling dust.

As of now, none of my body is no longer left,

But I know now my soul was taken by the mighty Soul Theft.

Meh, I was bored :T

Soul Theft represents the Grim Reaper if you didn't figure it out already
