Komori Bat fully colored? DDD

I have a question. Can you fully color the Komori Bat in Dream Drop Distance? I keep shooting it with black paint and it only seems to color the wings and not the "body" is that suppost to be that way? can you really not color the body?

    From what I've seen, each Dream Eater can be re-colored only in a specific part of their body. You can't fully re-color them.
