Long before the three heroes -Ventus, Aqua, and Terra- set foot in another world, long before even the terror of Master Xehanort could even be prophesied....long ago when Keyblade warriors were many.

They all gathered at The Land of Departure. Here, it was known as the Keyblade academy, where young apprentices seeking the ways of light would find themselves here. And two young teens, both aspiring to be named Master, find themselves here. What adventure awaits?

The man spoke in a strange language; something neither Kin nor Human...which meant  it could only be elfish. In a short quip he directed his companion--and the man holding onto Kaisse stuffed something onto her face. Micah's eyes widened as he recognized it as sleeping dust, a thick woolen pad sprinkled with sleep-inducing spores. The man with the knife before Micah quickly grabbed the Kin, and swiftly pressed a similar pad to Micah's face.

Kaisse started to feel faint..like she might pass out and she did. She just fell, right, asleep. No use in fighting it,so she didn't. After all she knew how this sleeping powder was made.

Micah's vision became a hazy mess, and soon even that became nothing but black darkness.

That did not last, however, as he felt his body being jolted around...though his mind would often go in and out of consciousness. When he finally did awake, he wasn't in the inn anymore. He sat, hands tied behind him, before an oddly dressed woman; odd circles and drawings laid out before him.

"Ah, so the Kin has awoken." The woman said, her voice filled with malice, "Glad to see it...you can be awake to see the end."

(You're in the same room as well.)

Kaisse jerked awake."Mistress? By the name's of the God's are you doing?" She asked and gagged. "It smells vile.." She closed her mouth.

Micah's breath was loud and ragged. "What..?" He breathed, looking to Kaisse, then to the woman who sat before him.

"Be quiet." The woman threatened, pulling out a black, jagged dagger from the folds of her brown leather coat. "This...this weapon..heh..you Kin are always referred to as angels and gods..well, I need the blood of a god."

Kaisse gasped. "You can't..I love him!" She coughed.

"You can't take him,no....never!" She broke free of the bondings that tired her hands.

"Sit down, girl!" The woman snarled, getting up from her 'throne'. "I'm not letting you ruin this because of your 'love'! In fact, your 'love' is what made this happen." The woman sneered, turning to Micah, "I'm sure you've noticed the people..my workers. We've been waiting for a magically-inclined Kin who fell in love with an elf...it's a little prophecy of mine. 'The God will come to the city of flowers with an elf as his companion..and there he will die.'"

"So..my mother was right..my love would lead me to ruin...I'm sorry Micah. " She hung her head but sat down.

"Your the one's that killed my mother aren't you! You set this all up,I'm a fool! Never has a Kin fallen in with one as low as myself!" She felt her eyes watering.

"Be quiet!" The woman yelled, glaring at Kaisse, "I don't have any connection to your mother. I have no idea of who you speak of." She snarled, "So shut up." The woman turned back to Micah, and smirked.

"Now, okay, I don't exactly need your blood...but this knife is juuust in case..." The woman turned away, looking at her throne--which slid a few feet to reveal another section to the transmutation circle.

It was a lot bigger than Micah expected...and he felt..drawn to it.

Kaisse  hung her head even lower. " You should just kill me now...like you did with..with the Inn Keeper. You should have done so earlier. I'm...lifeless with this fake love...and now.." She started to cry.

  • Author

"No." The woman smirked, "That wouldn't be fun...now, watch your lover die, before the might that it Jechta!" The woman cried, bringing down the black dagger...and cutting apart Micah's bonds. Micah gasped, his eyes going dark as he slowly walked to the true center to the circle, placing his hands down upon them.

The woman cackled, "Finally! After taking hold of this town and it's government, waiting for years...it's finally time!" She yelled, raising her arms up like a madwoman.

Your service is done. A voice said--something female, and Micah blinked, his subconscious registering as the voice from his dream.

"What?!" The woman yelled back. Your service...is no longer required. Thank you.

And like that, the room filled with a blazing light; incinerating all the stood within...save for Micah and Kaisse.

"NO! I spent years following you! I took hold of this town, infiltrated it and awaited day one of the Lambs would come! Why?!"

Because I don't like loose ends.

And like that, the woman too, died. Micah laid in the center, his clothes smoking; his body unmoving.

Kaisse's eyes widened. "What...what is this! Your wrong, what ever it is...your wrong! Your...nothing...not if you have to do this...this is horrible. "She got out of the chair.

"Your no Goddess, your nothing..." She kicked the chair over. "You can't be anything...because..it has to be a lie...you....no one can..do this.." She wiped at her eyes.

The air around Kaisse suddenly chilled.

You...are too to be a Lamb...but you are not ready yet. No matter, all come to me. The goddess said, and what sounded like laughter radiated throughout the room, Do you know who I am, child? Do you? I am the one who gathered those cultists, and they brought to me the first one, the first 'unique case' to open my gates. I need those open...if I am to return from my exile.

The sound of her 'voice' seemed to come within Kaisse's own mind...but it soon left, and the room returned to normalcy. Micah groaned, flopping over as he coughed several times.

Kaisse shook her head as if to say no,but that wasn't important now. Micah was. "Micah!" She cried and ran over to him.

She sat dawn and pulled him into her lap. "I'll do anything to help you,Micah!" She vowed.

All I need are the memories to unlock the gates. Memories of something special...something so powerful that it can even undo a curse set by a god. A voice rang in Micah's head, and he groaned.

Someone was calling his name...but when his eyes opened, he realized that's all he knew--his name.

"Who..what..?" He murmured, his hazy vision setting on a seriously cute girl who stared at him with a strong worry.

"It's your name~" Kaisse laughed trying to light'n the mood.

She pressed her lips to his. "I know I caused you pain, forgive me!"

Micah didn't know this person...at least, he felt that he should, but he couldn't place why.

A memory returned though--a faint flicker of the girl, and her name flashed into his mind.

Kaisse. She kissed him, and he felt another jolt. This person was his lover. "I-I'm sorry..Kaisse...I..I don't remember...all i remember..are names.."

"You...what?" Kaisse asked.

She sighed. "I see,she stole them.." She whispered.

  • Author

"I..heard a voice...the..voice..it said that special memories could undo some sort of gate." Micah said, looking up to Kaisse, "And I don't remember anything. I know we were in love, my name is Micah, and you're Kaisse."

Kaisse started to cry. "You aren't you!" She sobbed.

She felt herself breaking. "S-sorry." She breathed.

Micah was shaking a little. This girl..this elf..loved him with a fierce passion..and he didn't remember one single moment of it. He felt the lingering feeling of attraction, but that true feeling was long gone.

Micah looked away, "I'm sorry." He said, shaking more, "If..no..I...I.." He stammered, trying to find the right words to say, but nothing came out.

Kaisse hugged him. "We'll make new ones! We'll make new memories....I can't be alone anymore. I would give everything for you to get your memories back." She sniffed.

Micah smiled. This girl loved him.

"Yes." He nodded, "Let us...and I want to figure out what happened. Whatever it was--I want revenge." Micah said, his voice turning serious, "I want vengeance for my memories."

"We need to rest first." Kaisse told him.

"At least you do. I'll hold your hand the whole time." She said.

  • Author

Micah nodded, and gingerly held onto Kaisse's hand.

She's warm...very warm.. He thought, his face tinging with a blush. "Was I...any different, before?"
